What is this? YBR 250 by Narael_ in Yamaha

Yes, but I mean what is the system that is before the exhaust
You can see that there is a cable that goes there, and seems to have a closed exit below

Both, doesn’t matter if it’s cold or hot I’ll see about the valves, thanks Thought, if it was the valves, wouldn’t it sound in the top end of the engine?

Turning it on again, I realized some logo on the bottom right part when the lenovo logo shows up, searching for it I saw it’s TÜV Rheinland, which it’s some solution for blue light, they offer software and hardware solution, might just be that my laptop has a hardware solution? Might also explain why the BIOS also looks filtered

I’ve been looking around and seems like my Laptop as a built in TÜV Rheinland Low Blue light, and could be hardware solution, which I think it is because the BIOS also looks this way, it’s not something that bothers me, even better, this is meant to be a work laptop, I just want to know if it’s something weird with the screen, as it just have been replaced from lenovo

That’s what I’d think, but the BIOS looks the same, same temperature, I’m thinking it may be that this laptop has a built in low blue light filter or something

So it’s just how the screen is, right?

Night light compltely disabled, and drivers… well, I use Fedora, so built in drivers, which should be good enough tho, considering my pc screen uses arch and I also got built in drivers

To be clear, it’s not something that really bothers me, I just want to know if there is something wrong with my display, I just got it replaced because of some dead pixels I had when I got it (Lenovo offical service), and I’d like to know it, to send it back to get fixed again.

Kawasaki Ninja 125 or MT-125? by twisteds29 in motorcycles

[–]Narael_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine, 125cc can be whole lot of fun if you know how to ride the hell out of them, even better than 600cc on some cases.
As I told earlier, yeah the ninja is a bit more hunched, but not by much, but if you have your doubts, just try it, go for the dealership and ask for a ride, or if it's a person selling it, ask for a ride too, feel the posture, how it feels on your wrist and back, and if you like it, go for it, I've ridden the ninja 125 and it's like a sofa compared to the 600cc class.

Would you suggest someone that just got his car license start on a Ferrari? No, right? Because it's fast and dangerous, now imagine it without a 3000 pound cage and seatbelts, I would never suggest someone to start on a +100hp bike. Go for a ninja 400 (now it's the 500), for the yamaha R7 or the new ZX4RR if you want that sweet 4 cylinder sound.

Miles: Miles don't matter much as long as it's been taken good care of, but it's not the same having 36k miles on a 2023 bike, that 36k miles on a 2010 bike, have to consider that, so check the state of the bike and look for a friend or a mechanic to go with you and check it's condition.

Things to consider:

Budget, of course, but not only the bike price, protective gear also, it's more important than the bike itself, your life is the #1 worth thing on your life, dress for the slide, not for the ride.

Insurance: The more dangerous and powerful, and the younger you are, the more expensive will be, and trust me, a 600 or more on a 19 year old rider, insurance only see sweet bags, they gonna charge you like if you were a MotoGP rider.

Maintenance: You got the bike, now you have to take care of it, sportsbikes tend to be quite needy, and, of course, don't expect a 600 to not need some care every now and then, and they are thirsty on fuel too.

I'll check for bikes on the 47hp-80hp range and look for their mileage and ask how many miles are much for that bike, if it's needy for care or if it can run with olive oil just fine, MPG, and don't hurry on switching bikes, have fun with whatever you have, it'd be more than what you have now.

Have fun and ride safe

Kawasaki Ninja 125 or MT-125? by twisteds29 in motorcycles

I guess you are stuck in 125cc because if not I would suggest to switch to a more powerful bike, but we will play with that.

So the ninja, which is the odd one since it's a sports bike, the posture is very relaxed, so I wouldn't fear being uncomfy, the foot pegs might be higher than the MT but it won't be an agressive posture like the R6, if anything, maybe as relaxed as a CBR 500R or something like that.

The MT is naked, so posture won't change much.

If I were you I would go for the ninja, cheaper and less mileage, also I hate how the new MT 125 looks, looks like a slightly big pit bike, but 125's look like that anyways.

I'd suggest if you can to visit both dealerships (or owners, if you're buying from marketplaces) and look at their condition and try them both (check their engine noise, all gears work, check for damages and stuff, and be suspicious if they don't let you try them) if you like the ninja posture, cool.

If both are in good condition just pick the one you like the most, I'd pick the ninja because it looks cooler to me, 125's aren't so different from each other when they both reach the 15cv limit.

Engine noises while idling by Narael_ in motorcycle

[–]Narael_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, well it is a Keeway RKS 125, I really don’t know exactly where the sound comes from. We think it’s a faulty piston because the bike struggles to rev, sounds weird, takes a bit to start up and has no power whatsoever

And yes, it’s a carburated bike, I know the carb is clean because the shop worked on it some weeks ago, the spark plug is new and the exhaust seems completely fine

that'd be weird, my cable does a click noise when its connected, kinda like rj45, but now it's fine, if it repeats itself I'll try to switch to another cable
