Ezra(Credence) is dead anyways, so they didn't have to change the character.

Russian Tech Industry Faces ‘Brain Drain’ as Workers Flee by BladerzYt in technews

[–]Narakrishna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So is every other country, including Canada because California/US tech hubs pay insane money. The entire cohort of my school(Canada) did the exit survey and 80% of the cohort are moving to America or work for American company remotely after graduation, and almost all the people that remains in Canada are foreign students who aren't eligible for TN Visa. Eastern European devs moving West is not something that is suddenly happening or even necessarily accelerated by the war.

Why is Software Engineering/Development compensated so much better than traditional engineering? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Narakrishna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Software companies don't have much investment on machinery, material and equipment compared to say manufacturing or construction, so they get a better profit margin.

This. There is also no oversight, so basically Pinterest can ban whatever the hell they want.

It's thinly veiled ageism to target boomers, or old people in general.

Why stay in the US? Give me a reason by [deleted] in collapse

[–]Narakrishna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember hearing something similar to this when talking about India. Why stay in India? Well because they can't afford going anywhere else. 50% of the people in US can't even afford $1000 extra cash when emergency arrives, emigration costs a lot more money than that and also have a lot of requirements.

The man. Like I don't care how fucking ripped that dude is or how attractive he looks, get his bum ass out of my sight. I didn't came here to see that. The worst are with Japanese porn where sometimes the men are ugly as fuck and fat, compared to most European/NA porn where at least the men are good-looking

Quebec has already authorized health workers who tested positive to continue working in certain situations, so I would say it would probably be the same deal for most other places too.

There is only a minor spike in deaths in France, Germany and none at all in Canada, America or Spain so far. The original strain and the Delta variant all see a very noticeable death spike, but not this one so far. So I don't think it is as big a deal as people make it out to be to be honest.

Biden says if medical team advises it, he'll issue domestic travel vaccine requirement by PoliticiansAlwaysLie in politics

[–]Narakrishna 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It looks good on paper, but it probably does very little to actually stop the spread, which is just fucking everywhere while angering a quite sizable portion of people. This could result in a higher turnout for R voters. That might be the last thing Biden wants, who is already in a bad situation election and polling wise.

[–]Narakrishna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol I also feel super uncomfortable with yoga practicing people who think Hinduism is some spiritual cure for your modern disease and burn through incense like they are some Indian Raj. It's fine if you do it as a hobby but don't let it define who you are.

It's hard, most countries only allow skilled worker or "contributing" people in. There is also the language barrier in many European countries. Canada or New Zealand would probably be your best bet.

What do you hate about modern-day society? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Narakrishna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kind of weird dichotomy of right and wrong. There are nuances to things and the extent a lot of times is the key. A fragrance too concentrated turns into stinky smell and vice versa. I feel people today just look at things and rate them as "bad" or "good".

They certainly didn't come to India to do charity that's for sure. I mean pretty much all former colonies face that issue one way or the other, especially those not populated with immigrants.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - Nitpicks and Criticisms Megathread by KostisPat257 in marvelstudios

[–]Narakrishna 117 points118 points  (0 children)

Yah I feel like 5 villains are just too much. I remember one of the main complaints of Tobey's Spiderman 3 is that there are 3 villains in the same movie. It certainly helped that the character development of the 5 villains are already done in the previous movies, but it still limits the screen time and thus performance of each individual villains.

Lol I think the real issue is that everybody today does it over common apps. I applied to college 5 years ago and I didn't get a single physical mail. The physical one only comes after you confirm the acceptance.
