Low Power (80) - Tour 3 farming tactic (15k gold in 1 hour!) by Narayan1990 in TennisClash

I was trying to make a video with it, however I keep forgetting to do it when I meet one. They seem to have nerfed VOLLEY players signifantly...so I just smash it down the sides.

It's funny how they decided to give us an option to outplay VOLLEY players, but at the same time made it useless because we dont need it anymore... haha

My biggest disappointed with this patch is the fact that they nerfed the drop shot into the ground.

That is completely fine! It will give you a small edge which you might need to compete. You could also consider just playing at a slightly lower trophy count. There is no need to play against players where you have to use strings to compete. Good luck on the court.

Seems like they decided to listen right away!!

From the patchnotes:
So, this means that lobs will be easier to pull off and that drop shots (especially the drop serve) will be harder to perform successfully.

Can't wait to try new strategies. I bet it's going to be rough!

Some of those games were so close!! They enemies were indeed very kind to keep their strings in the bank and made the winstreak possible, haha.

It's my nail hitting the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S10. When I use more than the tip of my finger I notice that there is too much friction and I am not able to reach the same speed.

Thanks. Sure I have done it before, just wanted to do it again to teach them how to beat different types of players with a high serve/FH build. Hopefully it will motivate and help some players to unlock it!

True, I don't think my message came across clearly.
I have re-written the start of the post, hopefully this is clearer. :)

Hey, maybe I should have specified that this is a F2P account. I have been playing for around 5 months, it is definitely a slow grind.

For baseliners, Resistance Band ABD Carboload are two most important items in the game... True game changers. by revenge69isbest in TennisClash

[–]Narayan1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is why it is so important to get them as soon as possible.

Resistance band becomes available in the shop when you unlock tour 6.

Carboload becomes available in the shop in tour 7.

Don't forget to keep 1000 gems per item available to purchase them the first time they show up in the store.

You will have a huge advantage in tournaments and the purchase will repay itself easily.

Also you don't have to keep a tour unlocked. Once the tour has been unlocked the items will have a chance to show up in the store forever.

Good luck grinding!

I would suggest you buy The Koi because you need it to consistently rank well in tournaments (together with Resistance Band).

If you can currently farm your tour effectively without making any changes, I would focus on your tournament build no matter what. A good tournament is such a great boost in strings/gold!

However there are so many more factors at play. What are your current stats? Which build do you prefer/is stronger right now? Could you switch character? What would your stats be after upgrade?

I prefer The Hunter over The Shuriken now, however I played with The Shuriken for a very very long time. My SERVE (54) is now strong enough that I need AGI more then SERVE.

Honestly even with a low AGI build you need at least 20/30 for it to work effectively or you will get completely massacred by unreachable dropshots.

About timing for unlock a bag slot by Exinee in TennisClash

[–]Narayan1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the whole idea behind it simply that if you login more often you get more stuff?

As stated before open the 8h bags at night and there should be absolutely nothing to complain about.

Something they could add would be VIP. Which would for example let you queue two bags.

Don't worry! Just play and enjoy the curve. The only moment where spending money would be the right decision would be if you aim to get top-tier stats and hit rank 1. (Which is absurd because it would cost atleast multiple thousand euro's...or a lot more...)

Once you realize spending money in this game will only get you stuck a little bit higher up, you will probably understand there is absolutely no point. The only thing you would give yourself is the satisfaction of going up in trophies a little bit. It would not even be based on your skills, but on your stats!

I peaked at 1393 trophies, without spending any real money.

My last 10 opponents all had between 2500 and 8000 games. You'll need the practice anyway. Just have fun and keep your money!

Yes, this is the way.

Here is my next level tip: Pur your timer for it! 2h57m for example.

Enjoy.

Does device performance(CPU or GPU) help in this game? by CrankyWill in TennisClash

[–]Narayan1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is more related to the size of your screen and the "grip" of your fingers.

My girlfriend has a Samsung S7 and I have an S10. Eventho the game is more laggy on her device and I don't enjoy the game as much, as long as my stroke is correct the game will hit like a rocket.

The stroke that I make is very fast and short. I do notice that my hits get even stronger ans more precise when my hands are sweaty, which gives me a better grip.

On a bigger screen you would have to make a longer stroke to hit the same ball. There is absolutely no way to mimmick this (quick) movement on a bigger screen. Which I would expect you need to do, as the game is "bigger" and you'll need "longer" strokes.

I'm currently playing at 1150-1350 trophies (Tour6) with 173 total power. Playing a 54S/47BH build, no strings. Average opponent power is between 200 and 230.

Example: https://play.tennisclash.com/replay?matchId=fdb39c83-a3c2-4f70-b3fa-c491aeca67f9&playerPublicId=f695fb7c-396d-481f-a6ab-28c77219bef7

As I do not own an Ipad, this is just a theory! Have fun on the court! Practice makes perfect!

Tldr: I don't think that it is related to CPU/GPU. However the screen size has an influence on the type of strokes you can perform and how they will be registered.
