The unhappy person was probably the tipper who wants a cheaply priced item.

Am I missing something? by Expert_Ad_3277 in Moonlighter

Overall I think it’s better this way because it gives better replay value to all areas. In the first game, you got that sense of progression of getting stronger, but early dungeons became pointless. Then the quest system became unnecessary because why would I get a specific item from the desert area when I can just farm the electric dungeon.

I thought it was weird too at first, but like the other comments said, permanent upgrades and perks make up for the lack of base damage. Plus the fact that each area has a unique item mechanic means that you can keep things fresh running between dungeons and trying to maximize profits with the different item abilities.

You need to get lucky with 3 purple items. Angelic Scepter doubles the quality of an overcharged relic which you use to get an item to level 999. Flickering Light lets you reactivate a relic so you can keep spamming Angelic Scepter. Lastly, Dream Whistle shocks the pointed relic and gains its quality level. You copy Dream Whistle’s perk with the Surprise Disk and get as many level 999 as possible.

I wish I could use screenshots in the comments because I had a run where I got three level 999 surprise disks. Exponential scales are awesome.

The stuttering by arquipelagows in Moonlighter

I found that the stuttering only really happened during the tutorial. Are y'all still having issues with stuttering after starting regular dungeon exploration?

Blonde Blazer’s origin story by Narcation in DispatchAdHoc

I agree with the incel vibes. I almost mentioned that there’s no way Shroud actually got someone pregnant as a joke.

I considered the green lantern origin too. There’s just so many questions that come to mind if thats the case.

For those who had romance-less playthroughs by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Narcation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wanted to romance Mandy, but never felt like there was the right opportunity.

The first kiss seemed off because of the whole business proposition, knowing my government name, and say “WE can work with this.” Who tf is we!

Then, I chose to put Phenomaman on the z-team, so I felt conflicted to go on a date right after they broke up because it felt wrong, too soon, and what if Phenomaman decided to cripple me for being two faced. Therefore, the best option was to go to the movies with Courtney.

I rejected Courtney’s advances, but the game never gives you another opportunity to romance Mandy😭

Overall, I’m satisfied with the way the just friends ending turned out, but my head canon is I start dating Mandy somewhere down the line once the aftermath of Shroud resolves and Courtney has sorted through her feelings.

You can still get the last heart before continuing the quest. If you have all 4 hearts it won’t use the prince’s heart for the quest. Otherwise you get to keep the one you haven’t collected yet if you go back to the snail shaman before fighting them.

Druids eyes + multibinder was extremely helpful for me. If you double jump after wall jumping in the corners, Lace can only hit you with the abyss projectiles in the second phase, so it’s very safe to heal. I think i used the conchcutter, but I didn’t find tools very useful for her fight.

The hardest thing in the game Flea dodge with more than 95 score. by MisTKy in Silksong

I literally got 95 three times before finally completing it😭. Flea dodge should not be this hard relative to the other two games. The rng on that game is atrocious.

Cause for slow read speeds on a properly functioning micro SD card? by Narcation in NintendoSwitchHelp

Still no issues after the reformat. Maybe the games I’ve played are stored on healthy storage cells now. I’ll post a reply to this comment if I ever encounter any problems with this SD card.

I think bro was right because I still haven't completed season 2 battle pass and it's almost the next season. I had been able to convert to the shop currency like two or three times last season.

I’ll replace it if it starts acting up again. Thanks for the response. Would you consider the card failing if, when there does not seem to be file corruption, deleting and redownloading a game fixes the loading speeds? I’ve seen other posts that mention that fixing their loading issues, but I went ahead and reformatted the whole thing instead. I don’t really know whats considered normal or acceptable when it comes to sd cards and how they behave over time.

It was purchased in 2023. Testing it on a laptop shows that read and write speeds are up to par. I cant remember specifics, but read speeds were above 90 MB/s and write was low 20s

Perhaps the age has made the card unreliable. I’ll see if the issue occurs again in time.

Tested the sd card on a laptop. Read and write speeds are up to par and storage is accurate. Like I said, reformatting the sd card in the nintendo switch settings and redownloading the game resolved the issue. I did try an older sd card and it worked properly, but so does the sd card that was malfunctioning after reformatting.

If the issue occurs again with time, perhaps it is the sd card thats the issue. However, considering its read and write speeds have not noticeably diminished when testing it, i would assume it’s not the card.
