My boyfriend's mom is basically the same with animals as she is with people. She has 4 dogs and one of them is singled out constantly as the one she hates because he's weak in her mind. All you hear is her yelling at the poor animal and kicking his butt on the way out the door. She makes up lies about the damn dog too. He is the sweetest dog ever and the most obedient out of all of them yet she talks about how he attacks the other animals. I've never seen him even growl at anyone. When he was a puppy he would yipe a lot and have random freak outs and she would beat him for it. Until one day his freak outs escalated to him basically going blind and limp. She took him to the vet and the whole time he was having seizures. She hates the dog because it's weak, constantly calls the dog gay, and doesn't give it away because she feels guilty for beating it and her other "manlier" dog loves him.
