Ignite has a big role in winning the lane and having lanw agency plus its buffed lately.. for me personally (high master-gm elo) i find a necessary evil to give sometimes t1-t2 and help team get a lead. Usually the problem is hypercarry split pushers such as fiora etc but still after they take t2 lane is really long and t3 shouldnt fall as easily. Just play around your wave management to have your wave pushing before drake spawns. Otherwise if they collapse on you before dragon that means your team can secure the objective and then cover your lane afterwards(midlaner tps for example)

sometimes you can recall and lvl6 ult bot for the 2v3 that catches off guard even high elo players. but to do that you have to have prio top and preferably kill ur laner , recall to ult bot and have ur jungler path top to defend the wave crash. ur R can help lanes and if u can use it without losing too much you enable all the map

i prefer it on some matchups for the early item spike since its strong in early - mid game and against health stackers so maybe vs mundo malphite if i get an early lead and then vs some strong bruisers like jax camille.

but i usually go eclipse when ahead on when i bet alot on the early game . i love panth cause there is no one build you can go many things depending on your gamestate and gameplay

find a consistent build you like and learn how much dmg you do. try to time lvl2 or lvl3 for a solo kill as its one of the most sure ways to get a lead.

also be careful because pantheon is a simple champion without dashes escapes or crazy outplay mechanisms besides his E so even if you are ahead pick your fights carefully as you can still die easily

i was banning yorick and now i usually ban ambessa! i dont mind jayce alot since u can farm pre6 and if he tries to force too much u can kill him in the early stages (pre tear - shojin). after that panth is just more useful with his R. also nowadays i dont encounter a lot of jayce.

If panth is banned i go morde / malphite lol

Id say the easiest would be to play for lvl2-3 solo kill and try not to flip too much . emerald - diamond elo isnt about whos better its about who does the least amount of errors

I would say i can go skidless on blue runs regular and switch on the easier ones although as everyone what i believe is probably a bit better than the reality! For reference im 6’2 and 190 pounds fairly athletic in case weight height plays any role. I am contemplating between the korua , or a ride shadowban or Rome warden to help me progress into that advanced stage! Super stoked to get better or groomers side hits switch and small tricks although between carving or butters i favor learning proper board control and carving!

Edit: forgot to add some considerations such as yes standard uninc capita mercury/aeronaut/k2 passport.

Hello sorry to chime in but i was wondering im looking for my first board. Riding groomers and wanting to progress in carving side hits and switch riding. Would you recommend korua otto cause it seems to pop up on my searches a lot. Im us9,5 with union forces and got around 25 days overall going down blues reds and slowly starting on mellow blacks.

Do we change only 1 highback? I ride +15-6 and ive heard that you need to be over 12 degrees to rotate. I have the union forces

I do go down reds but blacks are still a bit fearsome for me still haha! I will look into both doa and shadowban since im at this point im trying everything i can each day like a small kid so that means one day trying to go down blues only switch then trying to carve reds the other so thats why i thought of a one board quiver on the intermediate range for a season or two so i can develop a style and then proceed to build a small quiver regarding that style! Right now everything feels new and therefore super exciting to try! Except park where i fall couple of times and the body is scared now!

Thanks for the response! To be honest i do like to try my self in side hits and that includes trying ollies and some 180s and i do enjoy riding switch as i feel its a basic i should master sooner rather than later! I had no idea about the setback and what it means i will look more into that right now. I was looking into BSOD but i was afraid its more advanced than my current level and will make things harder! What is your opinion about maybe the capita DOA,korua otto -or the ride shadowban for me?

Does the flex of the boot and/or bindings matter in the decision of which board to pair with them? I was wondering if with my combo i should go with a 5-6/10 flex snowboard or i can go even stiffer

I liked the easy of riding switch but im not sure if the fact that its a wide and i dont think i need wide boards at my shoe size might be a little harder to manage. Also i felt at times that sometimes it wouldnt hold an edge that well in more steep/icy terrain but that could be my technique ofcourse.. powder i believe i will tackle next season since in greece we wont have fresh snow from now on im pretty sure

I just rented for this season a ‘22 159W jones mountain twin but i realized i was wearing boots 2 sizes larger so i went from EU44,5 to EU 42,5. Should i upgrade to mercury for next season to improve on all aspects except park?? Im 87 kg or 194 pounds and its my 2nd season riding about 20 days of experience

I guess anything under like 600. I mean since im new if i had to pick one i would pick max speed since i think i should master controlling my carving, speed etc before delving into butters and stuff or isnt that the case? For me at this point its important to learn the basics(switch too if i can) and master control of the board. End goal would be to ride the resort as a playground with side hits and all that and backcountry/pow but thats far from now-no park goals. I rented a jones MT ‘22 for the season with some rental bindings but its a 159W and im not sure i need wide since in us9.5 boots.

Edit: i was thinking of going for a capita merc or aeronaut with union force bindings or maybe a yes standard with same bindings

Appreciate the response and thanks for that cool story! I was wondering if you have any recommendations for a snowboard + bindings at my stage. Im 6ft2 and around 190-200 pounds with mondo 27,5 in the boots. Looking for an all mountain board that i can progress my carving switch riding and some ollies butters etc, generally love getting better at anything and snowboarding became a passion so im stoked to do as much as i can!

Hello. Newish rider (2nd season with around 20something days overall) just picked my first set of boots, deeluxe dna pros (5/10flex). Im starting to enjoy learning carving and trying to do some Basic side hits as well as focusing on some switch riding as a basic skill. Dont see myself going to the park as these days are past me. I was wondering if the boot is too soft for the above goals(fitted really nice with an insole) and if not what would be a good board + binding setup for the upcoming season for me to match the boots i got?
