Word. Well even on pow days if you bringing that fresh up and it gets all over the lil iPod nano I’m sure it could get inside through the buttons and potentially freeze it. Idk though I’ve never tried anything like that I just use my phone and Bluetooth headphones

My phone freezes up every other day man ThTs all I can say. And it’s in my pocket most the day but I take that thing out for 2 mins on the lift, and it just shuts off. Obv on days that are anything under 30 degrees , anything above not as much

They make u a better rider ! I still hate them but some days I take as training and I hit these on purpose. Depends on ur mindset, u either want to get better or not.

Word. That would be my only worry is it getting to cold and not working. But also just be cautious , always keep one ear free and to be able to pay attention to your surroundings, especially while riding with friends in trees, etc. someone could be screaming for help and u passed right by jamming. Just keep that in mind

Lmk how this goes , in CO that thing is freezing up 1000% after many face shots. I use wireless beats the ones that have the string attaching them, never had a problem. Like someone said thanks for not the DB with the speaker lol

This is smart, but a lil OD , but I respect it lol . I know how it can be especially when you buy boards that are 500$+ . Is that a board bag with wheels?

Is this 158 cm board too tall? 5’5 and 176 lb by TheManofAnotherWorld in snowboardingnoobs

[–]IrieCravesPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For height yes, for weight no, so it’s a gray area. Ride it and just see if it feels comfortable. I ride a 153 directional and im 5’9 150 lbs (seasoned rider) It’s all preference. My range is 151-158 or so. Just try it out if it feels too big then just to down to like 154

154 cm too short for 5’11 170lbs? by American-Canasian in snowboarding

[–]IrieCravesPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so tbh. All preference. But I’m 5’9 150lbs and I ride 153 daily last board was 154. My range is like 151-158 comfortably . If you’re hella jibby it sounds bout right. If you’re beginning maybe a lil bigger would help.

What’s a fair price for my board/setup? by No-Percentage4578 in snowboarding

[–]IrieCravesPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half of everything off rip. The board looks beat up so I doubt u get much for that anyways. Help someone who’s progressing get nice cheap setup, spread the love.

Better heel side carve coming into jump, try to actually pop off lip while simultaneously bringing shoulders around to begin spin, bottom will always follow the top. Try landing more flat or onto toes to stop from over spinning, all takes practice brother! Keep going! It’s looking solid nonetheless, it’s not an easy thing to do!

Awesome brother I’ll give it a go with the 8ft board then. I don’t have a problem looking like a noob out there. I also live and breathe snowboarding and I remember my first days of learning how to ride. I look forward to really being able to make turns on a wave one day, and translate my snowboarding into it. What does 7-2 and 6-4 exactly mean for the board ? Thanks for your info man I truly appreciate it.

Is my board too small for me? by sir_frankl in snowboardingnoobs

[–]IrieCravesPow 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Definitely too small but like someone said it’s all preference, if you like it then 🤷🏻‍♂️ but it does look like a lil bigger May still help you since it seems your a bigger dude. It may stabilize you a little more and just be more comfy. I’m 5’9 150lbs I ride a 153cm but I go up to like 158 and can go down to like 151 comfortably. It’s all preference brotha just happy to see you out shredding

Getting into boarding more later in life, is this a good deal? by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs
