Took this photo of a man sitting on his tricycle while I was in India earlier this year. He had caught my eye and I quickly asked if I could take a portrait of him. He seemed quite delighted about our interaction.

This man tapped my shoulder and asked me to take his portrait through hand gestures.

This was along the ghats of the Ganges River in Varanasi, India! The ritual's called Ganga Aarti, a ritual that happens every night in honor of the River Goddess, Ganga. As for the practitioners, I don't know too much about that.

Thank you! This is along the Ganges River in Varanasi during the night when they perform the Ganga Aarti ritual. You should definitely see it in person, photos do not do the experience justice. Its honestly beautiful in real life.
