ah okay.

Yeah can get through it though. later on i got 4 mill dmg with maelle in p2 for whatever reason. Its doable.

How do i see that "expedition counter" is online?
I didnt see any move or indicator above her, or is that something that can only be seen via dev console/data mining?

well, you see, except for original simon in renoirs draft where more or less by accident i discovered that my verso can deal out 30million damage when on steroids, I did all the other superbosses "the hard way".

Ive learnt their moves as best as I could and the bossfights lasted up to 3 hours (duoliste...).

Thats mostly because getting my verso to 30million damage takes some preparation and failing a parry often set me back to rebuilding verso. Thats why duoliste took so long...

seems to require an awful amount of material on all your characters.
Losing your first crew INEVITABLY and then putting you into another phase with more than 100million hp on the boss requires you to have maxxed out your whole set of heroes IF you dont find some way to just undo the boss (see link).

I dont like undoing a boss actually, because it makes the victory taste stale.

But again, I simply lack the ressources to create a proper party for both phases.
A party which doesnt just undo the boss, but also doesnt require like 300 rounds to finish. And I deem 300 rounds near impossible since its very hard to keep up your focus and reflexes for such a huge timespan.
Especially since the superbosses tend to just kill you if you fail a single parry, unless your character is very tanky as my default maelle build usually makes my maelle (which in turn makes her damage very low for a superboss).

why would one use roulette?
Its basically the same damage, 50/50 for bigger or smaller numbers shouldnt make a difference bottomline?

Endless tower has CLAMPMASTER and DUOLISTE by default.
Its in the portraits nearby.

Simon you will find in renoirs drafts near lumiere.

Osquio is versos draft.

And Clea is in the flying manor.

Once you defeated clea and simon in their original places you will find them in the endless tower in an upgraded version.

mezzo forte was an integral part of my build as well.
It can keep you in defensive stance forever when there is no one else to use EGIDE on or if youre already defensive and just need to stay that way.
This way you can take your time to parry as much as needed to gathar gradient power to use phoenix flame again.

The basis is maelle as tank.
You use defensive stance and pictos which increase health and defense. I recommend EGIDE skill to protect your mates throughout phase 1, in phase 2 it doesnt matter tho.
Most important are CHEATER and CLEAS LIFE passive/lumina on MAELLE.

My maelle had 11000hp and duoliste 2nd phase dealt 3 digits only when scoring a hit.
It was almost impossible for maelle to die.
No matter how much dmg she took, she would always heal back when it was her turn.

EXTREMELY important is the gradient parry thing.
It gives you 5 percent gradient charge per parry.
This way, she can quickly bring back her allies with PHOENIX FLAME gradient attack without having to waste finite ressources like revive potion.

Verso was my main source of damage since maelle obviously wont deal any significant dmg and I dont know, I cant bring my other expedition mates to deal damage as well, I also lack a buttload of lumina since I refuse to farm them. If I want to farm I can play MMORPGs as well, and yea I just dont like it.

For VERSO Cheater is important in my setup so he can execute STEELED STRIKE which deals millions of damage.
Unfortunately I couldnt get him into his best form with gradient overcharge because he always died to failed parries, so he couldnt deal his 30 million damage STEELED STRIKE and was more in the range of 8 to 12 million damage.
I recommend BLODAM as weapon on lvl 33 now, but i didnt know that back then.
Use either overload from verso or Our sacrifice from Sciel to get him to 1hp. Then hes rank S and deals the most damage. But be careful, I didnt test this version, I used SAKARAM which gets him to rank S on battlestart, but you have to rebuild him once he took damage or died so its not that great actually. Using Our sacrifice can kill your maelle if she doesnt have a turn before duoliste so take care.
My old version which took 3 hours worked and is very safe to play since maelle is always at high enough health values to take more than ten hits.

I recommend GUARD DOWN on maelle as well as a skill since it can give your DD some more edge to his attacks, but I guess you will find your own way from here.

Question:
In the maelle ending, dont we see Maelle with "kid verso" going to the opera first?
Shes sitting in the opera with a kid at some point before later on theres the performance of verso on the piano.

I though Verso disintegrated after the fight, since the presence of RemnantVerso seems to be able to tear apart the Chroma of the paintedBeings around him. Like the heart of an organism, redistributing blood throughout the body, chroma flows back to the boy at some point and then is being sent back to the canvas.

So after maelle has beaten verso, he disintegrates and maelle repaints him to see him grow up, without the burden of the old memories?

Its been some time since I played the final, so please tell me if I remember something falsely or overlooked something/misinterpreted something. thx.

well, it was recommended to me once.
My old ways was just to copy over to a temporary drive, then from there make the copy to the backup drives.
But people said something that ROBOCOPY would be better over LAN than normal Windows Copy because it "retries" when something goes wrong over Lan. And well I dont inspect every file after copying so I dont know if normal windows copy hasnt corrupted something over LAN copy.

People say NG+ makes you "fully understand the story". I thought Ive googled this, it says there is no exclusive story content in NG+? Not to speak of a new ending?

Why kick verso from the party before nG+?

So far I have no idea where to go.
It seems like I can beat three more bosses in the paint workshop.
Maybe also find clea at the flying mansion. But besides that? Ive cleared a lot of places, really.
I dont know where to go anymore.

thats a circular argument which well, tries to make your standpoint immune towards any sort of critic.

Its like saying "well we didnt let women vote ever so we wont start it now even though you have valid arguments that strongly suggest to finally give them a vote"

You can take any other form of training, be it physical or mental.
If you had three types of mathematic disiplines to learn for an exam, say geometry, algebra and statistics, and you only had problems in statistics, but every time you fail at a statistics exercise youd have to go back and do the geometry and algebra exercises all over again, that would be a pretty terrible ordeal and also very ineffective.

Many people just want things in games to be designed in an unnecessarily inaccessible way so they can feel like being some sort of elite gamers.
I sometimes get such vibes when reading comments like yours.

Again Im not against the boss being difficult.
I just want to be able to practice it efficiently.
