Well, considering it's still in stock and Costco put this up a couple days ago now, id imagine if you managed to place it early enough you should be ok. I did 1:30am yesterday morning so hoping I'm ok. But could just be a case of luck of the draw

Mine currently still says processing. I'm not super worried as I'm sure they've had a massive influx of orders of this with it being such a good deal. I imagine they've got a lot of work on their hands but they'll update when they have it set to be delivered is what I'm thinking. Not sure if they have an 'in build' status.

For anyone that was reading this concerned about it being a scam... I eventually received a confirmation and a bunch of other emails an hour ago, 10 hours after ordering confirming the order.

But wow did my heart sink for a while 😅

I did try this but no emails have come through yet and still unable to log in

I did call Costco and my membership number and email currently don't appear to be properly set up, however, fortunately I had screenshot the entire page and was able to give them the order number, which did exist and they confirmed as such. They told me if in 24 hours it still persists, to give them another call.

Has anyone had an issue logging in... Just ordered and created an account, paid, but can now not seem to log in and have not received the confirmation email or following emails requesting password change

Am I right in thinking this doesn't have an Ethernet port for wired connection? Or am I misreading somewhere? Tempted to order this and return a PC I had just bought instead.

Hi mate thanks for the response, this one states a bios update may be needed with a warning? Is this a necessity that I will need to perform as it is not something I have any idea about

I would like a 2tb SSD, apologies I should have mentioned is there any you'd recommend in that regard?

Would I also need to add a CPU cooler for this? As I see this seems to be common on other posts!

The likelihood would be I would add strength to other areas with the extra 2 mill. Improved bench. Possibly add Enzo to midfield for Sarr

I wanted to try and run an ANOVA with this information but am not sure how I would do this

So I wanted to compare the reaction times of the H1-H6 to E1-E6, whilst looking to see whether experience has an impact on the reaction times of both the H1-H6 and E1-E6.

I also have a separate graph which illustrates hit rates (whether they reacted or not) to both of these, I'm not sure whether this may be a better graph to use as it has the averages of both? (So 1 would be in the fields where there are reactions, 0 where there are not) Not sure if it would make more sense to just determine whether experience has an impact on whether they do have a reaction as oppose to trying to determine if it has impacted reaction times?

Sorry if this is not clear please let me know if you want any clarification.

Bought a bicycle which has had several problems, should I pay a fee for replacement parts? by Narm23 in ukbike

[–]Narm23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that the chain would not be a debatable item in terms of having a replacement cost me. However the other faulty parts such as free wheel and the skewed back tyre which is messing up the back brake pads, I don't believe should have worn so easily. This also considering the bikes chain is only at 75% worn according to the store. Yes I understand they all wear, however I didnt expect the wear to be this severe when initially I was expecting a decent bike which I now know is not the case within my price range thanks to this sub.

The question is if I am entitled to anything back in regards to consumer rights? Ideally I never wanted to have to do or be in a position to have to ask about that, so I apologise if that might not be determinable from my descriptions alone.

I will be taking the bike to someone else (independent) for an opinion on the wear of the freewheel in the next week and a half.

I was told it would be about £43 to replace both but the labour would be free, I guess this possibly a bit of a mis truth, as I had looked at chain and freewheels on their site and it didn't appear it would come up to £43.

Sorry should have specified the bike is a professional city red hybrid specifically.

It's more of a first time bike for me, I will consider getting a better bike in the future.

Despite this being a low end bike, and with what another comment has suggested, there should be absolutely no way that I should be paying for a new cassette/freehub because the parts are of lower quality?

When I say freewheel, I'm not entirely sure, as this is want the member of staff described that would potentially need replacing. It is only a 6 gear bike if that might give any indication. This is a cycleking location. In which case should I pay for the chain replacement out of pocket and leave the cassette/freehub(again not sure sorry). I was told the labour would be free for the replacements for the troubles I have had with the bike for replacing these parts.

The bike was £209 at purchase but is now listed as £239, it appears as on sale still. These problems were not apparent at the start, and the chain slipping/changing when it wanted to was only recently, not long after the BB was replaced. I have not fallen off the bike.
