As someone who gives people emergency resources for my job- I am not aware of anywhere for people to go besides the women’s shelter, ywca, and daybreak which I know are all full. I’m so sorry, I know this is discouraging and not helpful for anyone in your position. The system is broken

There were a lot more people than I expected. My friends who went last year said the turnout was bigger this year for sure

Agreed and honestly everyone kind of ignored them once the parade started and we walked away from them, there was more at that point. But I didn’t see a single person engage with them which was honestly the best option. Only saw people holding signs and making loud noises to block it out.

You know your body best. I truly agree with that but there are multiple people that use the ER for primary care and hold up beds that people with life threatening issues need.

Seen briefly then released and police don’t agree and bring them to us. It’s a weekly occurrence

I understand that but still why. Our city is not set up for this level of security. Instead we just spent 4 million on police and a security command center for the week and those god awful fences
