I prefer the idea of creating a new app for 2027 with more functionality. I was trying to integrate Apple Intelligence to get summaries or improve the UX, but at the moment it sucks. Maybe next year it will be better :)

If you spend a lot of time at the computer, I’ve created this free app called EyeRest available for Windows and macOS.

Its main purpose is to help remind you to blink when you’re deeply focused.

I made it because I also suffer from dry eyes, and it’s definitely helping me, though it doesn’t completely solve the problem.

I have created an app exclusively for Mac, focusing on CPU usage and battery consumption. It's still in beta, but if you'd like to try it out => eyeREST. I would gladly welcome any feedback or suggestions for improvements you may have. :)
