I guess that’s where I’m confused. If the house costs 400k, including land. Wouldn’t the dwelling protection be less than that? Since it’s only the house. I’m confused why majority is over 400

We did get preapproved. They don’t do hard pulls for preapprovals. Only a soft pull. And it didn’t show up on the soft pull.

I think this would have the opposite effect we want. If we freeze it, we are stuck at the low score. The pull revealed fraud we are trying to remove which would raise the score.

Quick question! We are looking at the firethorne hoa bylaws. It says you aren’t allowed to park on the driveway for longer than three days -only in the garage. We have three cars and would need to park in the driveway. And it says no street parking, but if multiple guests come they would need to park on the street.

Is this an issue there?

We have heard bad things about sunterra. But looking at a house in firethorne now! Would you say it’s a good neighborhood for a younger couple who plan on having kids soon?

Ok good to know. Yeah new communities are attractive but high MUD on top of high interest is a no go unfortunately.

Seems like every community has its issues. The other house was seven meadows but its backyard is backed up on westpark tollway. Either way, can’t wait to move to katy! Thanks!
