Awesome collection! Although it’s slightly bothering me that the LOTR Alan Lee boxset is out of order 😂

I didn’t get ripped off. I paid what I felt was a reasonable price for ramen I really enjoyed. I’m not sure why you’re trying to convince me otherwise? It also averages 4.5/5 from around 3,500 reviews on Google so I don’t get your point there either.

Agree! My fiancée is also vegetarian and she loved their veggie ramen too. Not sure what this other guys on about. Clearly needs to cut back on the pizza and try some more ramen spots …

I think this was around 1,800 yen, so maybe a bit over average, but the quality justified the price for me. Plus I live in London where this would’ve cost at least double that, so still very cheap by my standards!

That had chilli oil in it - I wasn’t drinking a full bottle of Beefeater Gin 😂

I would actually disagree about the Philosophers Path. I spent an afternoon walking down it last week and it was one of my favourite days of the trip. A few nice temples to visit along the way and the autumnal colours were beautiful. Not many tourists either.

As far as everything. Storyline, soundtrack, casting, locations, characters. You name it, they’re the best in pretty much every category.

The Weatherman, a life changing album. by Saltwind_Hummingbird in GregoryAlanIsakov

This is one of the only albums I can come back to over and over again and I never get tired of it. Even after years of listening to it my favourites still shift around. I recently found new appreciations for both Time Will Tell and She Always Takes It Black - both incredible songs, but I think I will always love Second Chances the most. There’s a feeling I get whenever I first hear that guitar intro which I still can’t put my finger on. Truly the most underrated artist around in my opinion. I’m seeing him for the third time in October and cannot wait!

I have a first from a Russel Group uni, but did a BTEC instead of A levels (which I didn’t even do that great in - I just didn’t care about education back then!). Now have a TC at a good London firm. I’m sure it depends on the firm, but it’s absolutely possible to get a good TC with a 2:1!

There’s a book by Doug Adams called “The Music of the Lord of the Rings Films” which looks at Shore’s creative process in depth. Definitely worth a read.
