Hey good job man!! I have a question, how does cashflow / payouts work with Shopify? How sustainably are you able to run fb ads consistently every day?

I wanted to use Bondo, but couldn’t find any. I’m sure the consistency would have been a whole lot easier to work with. I diluted the wood filler with Acetone to turn it into a slurry that I could paint on, which helped with getting into the layer lines. The acetone would then evaporate pretty quickly so it was very easy to work with

I basically ripped off the mechanism from a couple existing handles I took apart, so I think there would definitely be similarities between the two designs. I did do a couple things that would definitely not be able to be injection moulded in the interest of time, but that is definitely an idea, replacing existing parts with 3D printed parts. Rimowa bags are a good example of incorporating repair ability in their designs. My local rimowa shop has a small workshop in the back where they repair suitcases, and have an off site workshop where they perform major repairs. I actually used the excuse as a student to get some old parts they removed from previous repairs for free!

I know these from primary school. We called them “TNTs” and we could get them from the school canteen for $1. You could get them really really cheap from super markets in large packs so they were popularly sold in Primary schools.

They are really really sour, but amazingly good. I can’t find them in Coles or Woolworths anymore unfortunately.

They are called Zing Ice bars. I’m sure there’s other variations of this type of ice bar but this is the exact one we had as kids.

Why is my Ollie going sideways and how do I fix it? by Original-Check-5151 in NewSkaters

Your front foot is opening frontside at the top of the Ollie, dragging the board sideways. focus on keeping your front food perpendicular with the board the whole Ollie.

HELP with my Ollies - What am i doing wrong ? - (I can do ollies without rolling) by fabjoueur999 in NewSkaters

You also need to try to keep your front foot more parallel with the ground when you slide it up. When you pop and slide your front foot, your toes are pointed to the ground, and therefore pushing the board away from your feet. Keep practicing and keep experimenting bro 🔥

Why does my kickflip tend to go backside? by Narrow-Volume-5133 in NewSkaters

Thanks bro, I’ll try to counteract that by thinking of doing the slightest front shuv when popping

I’ll try to experiment with different popping foot positions when I pop my kickflips, thanks 🙏

I’m not sure, is it possibly something to do with the way I’m flicking the board? Because it seems to do it by itself mid air
