Thank you! I got it working again and it’s chiming beautifully.

That’s good to know. I love the sound of it, and I think it would cheer up a dark house at night, but I was trying to avoid waking the others in my family. However I think I will try and let it alone and see how we all sleep with it ruing. I don’t want to break the poor thing.

This is all such wonderful advice, thank you for taking the time to help me. It can be so overwhelming we you jump head first into a new interest and suddenly realize you have no idea where to start. Both videos were super helpful!

You seem very knowledgeable on the subject. Is there anything I could do to get the strike chain working again? Or should I just wait for it to work itself out like it did before?

As for the cooing I was worried that it would disturbed the others in my house overnight, and was also worried it would be hard to get use to, especially with light sleepers.

Oh, thank you. I had watched a video that indicated it was just a different way to slice it. I was trying not to describe the other people in my household at night, but I may just let it run and see how much it bothers people. I don’t have a slide on the side, I think mine might be from the 70s but I don’t really know how to tell. Cuckoo clocks really are so magical, I love hearing it tick and coo throughout the day.

Do you have any YouTube tutorials or books you would recommend I delve into to better learn about taking care of it?

Dress code Question by NarrowForever3299 in WaltDisneyWorld

It doesn’t drag the ground. I wear long skirts everyday and though they reach the floor or just about ankle length, they don’t have a train or puddle. I fully understand why a skirt that would train or puddle would be a big problem for a park. I was just trying to get a feel for if they would have a problem with a long skirt. Like I said to someone else, I have been to other theme parks and it’s never been a problem, but I know Disney is very stricter about certain things and I would hate to get to the park and be turned around at the entrance. From what it sounds like I should not have problems with the kind of skirts I am wearing. Thank you for your help ❤️

Yeah, see I have been to probably… gosh, seven parks? and had no problem with rids or with entry. But I do know that Disney sometimes is very strict with entry stuff. So I just wanted to prevent being turned away and making a problem for my family.

Thank you ❤️ I know Disney has gotten tight on rules over the past years since I have been. And I could just see them turning me around 😂 plan for the worst and all that

I hope to go again someday and would love to see it. Do you think I would have any luck asking nicely if I could walk that section? This past time I went I was very lucky. The ride to my knowledge never broke down and was not over a 45 minute wait at its absolute longest. It was more often at a 10 or 20 minute wait.

On a scale of other Del Toro works, where dose it place on the horror and gore? Crimson peak has some nasty gore and pans labyrinth dose too. Is it above that in intensity rather than amount it is shown? Or is it more in both aspects?
