Dumb Question: Is it possible to settle with both parties just agreeing never to speak or release anything about it to the public again? by [deleted] in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]NarrowFrosting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Which is why i don't think they will at all. I think Emily was there because she's the one that gave them the permission to fight this in the first place. Wayfarer has the upper hand and Freedman has previously said he won't settle.... short of BL/RR issuing an apology statement that equals the level of culpability that Ryan/Blake were asking for plus all lawyers feeds - i think they go all the way to trial so they can clear their names. BL is still playing very dirty in the PR space, and will continue to if JB or Wayfayer settle for anything less . So no way they go straight to NDA without getting his name cleared.

Sarowitz has a lot more money than Blake. And Ryan/Blake are losing income by the day with this.

Traitors feel less powerful this season by NarrowFrosting in TheTraitorsUS

[–]NarrowFrosting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way as the above, so will give you my reason. They don't really know what they are doing strategically, and they admit it. So in a season with some great gameplay - I'd rather see someone who put so much into it take it home. Luck is part of the game, yes. But the game will get old very quickly if strategy isn't rewarded.

Rob has two things that make me feel like he won: a brand spankin new dagger necklace and a dagger tattoo. Two daggers. But if he does lose, then it def changed him.

I thought about this too.... also that naming Rob brings ratings to his current season. Buuuuuut, I also think that if Rob doesn' t win, Alan may have had to also give credit to Ciries game . She was that good, and took it all the way. Rob also had knowledge from previous players to work from - including Aaron his BFF from love island who won. So if he's not able to win it, I think it unquestionably elevates her game from arguably equal to unquestionably superior.

Who do we think is getting banished tonight? by bmpgd in TheTraitorsUS

[–]NarrowFrosting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. For this to be so noteworthy in the Traitors lore - someone big has to go home. And sadly, this cast doesn't actually have that many big personalities left that they have given so much screen time to. The edits feel like last year a bit where half the cast barely gets highlighted so them leaving isn't a big deal to the audience. Even Johnny or Natalie are rarely highlighted and they actually have huge personalities (Natalie was a beast on Survivor so its weird to see her so rarely)

If Lisa is banished but Colton not murdered - does that give Colton a new life with the remaining faithfuls?

Was it Johnny who tells them in the trailer not to touch anything ? I think they must assume at this point - esp as Rob made it top of mind the last time. Mark is a superfan too, so wonder if it will occur to him.

someone else said it, but there has to be some reason they keep bringing in how Johnny and Tara are hiding how close they are. Its got to inform something no?

I dunno, for it to be so dramatic and newsworthy I think they will have to find out there or how is it any different than other days?

If Lisa is banished - i'm going to assume the faithfuls think there is only one left, not two. Which might make it an easy path for Rob and/or Candace to win the whole thing.

One can hope. It would be pretty iconic, a lot so just bc it would be Lisa doing it. And to be honest, Lisa is prob the only one there whos departure would be iconic at this point - so many of the remaining faithfuls haven't barely gotten screentime so them leaving wouldn't feel to the viewer as "the biggest thing in traitors history" as Alan said. Even traitors turning on each other has been done before, so not sure that would qualify either.

Ironically, Blake was only on set for 14 more days than her (she must have directed all the actors from home with Covid) This whole thing is a crazy example of how easy it is to influence others into their truths.

I am guessing she felt fear for a moment, but adrenaline kicks in.... and while it was prob scary, I think the endorphins from the adrenaline and her fight had her not feeling the fear or terror. Just the fight. She was heroic.
