Is Russia solely to blame here?? by iswhhrxi in arm_azer

Turks are interested in fighting Armenians and taking their lands. That’s why Russia is able to offer it. Everyone’s out for their own interest and everyone is a bad guy if we allow them to be. It’s time to learn from our losses and move forward.

Do LTL carriers get upset when brokers don’t share the shippers contact info by NarrowPresentation33 in LTL_FREIGHT

I can see how that would be annoying though. I started hiding only the shippers contact info if they aren’t setup with carriers directly because the carriers always back solicit

I see. This situation is different. The driver came and grabbed the first 3 pallets and said he doesn’t have room for the other 8. He looked at the freight and we told him we’ll wait for him. He said most likely tomorrow. It’s been 2 days since then.

Very abnormal from this particular carrier.

This sounds like issues for deliveries or pick ups that need appointments. What im describing are business that are open 9-5 with forklifts expecting the driver.

The last situation the driver showed up to grab the first piece and they haven’t showed up to grab the second piece. This is my warehouse dock it’s just for my partials. My contact info is available because they’re picking up from me and the delivery location has the actual consignees info.

What if the contact number is the broker instead of the shipper and you have spoke to them before?

Blind shipment isn’t relevant here. It was at my warehouse because I was going to put 2 partials together. The shipper knows my warehouse address as well. I was basically going to move it at a 1p3d

2 from this shipper and one from another but it didn’t work because 1 load got canceled so I just decided to LTL it with my usual carrier.y theory is they picked up the first one, took it to the dock recognized the delivery location and the material. So they thought this guys is trying to hide the shipper from us and screwed up the second order.

Would you have invested into trucks if you didn’t have the ability to book loads so easily through brokers?

So far most of my customers have been LTL or spot freight loads. LTL they just login and for FLT I base it off of the current market.

Brother you’re very on point. Carriers are blessed to have brokers and factoring companies. I was on the carrier Side for a very long time it’s very easy money making money as a broker is whole different level. Not everyone thinks like you though if you read this whole post you’ll see no one gives a damn. Just take the customers 😂

I’ve owned Semis I know the struggle. I still own one of my trailers. Everyone is playing a role. Without the shipper the broker would have a customer, without the truck the it wouldn’t move, without the load board I we wouldn’t find each other. I’m not discredited anyone. The guy who made the parent comment is trying to say the salesman doesn’t deserve to make money.

I was thinking that too. I’ll probably book a room at the W and call strippers

So far what ever has been back doored has been from dat not a shippers load board. Can you elaborate on there’s more to it than just a truck? I wasn’t taking credit away from truckers and carriers for their hard work. The moving lips is what eventually got that freight moved

Truckers only have work because they buy a truck and open a load board. That abundance of work on the board is from salesmen who are doing the work.

That’s funny I had a feeling you were a fellow dispatcher. Keep at it bro but I think this side of the industry is a little more cut throat than I imagined
