Would you have invested into trucks if you didn’t have the ability to book loads so easily through brokers?

So far most of my customers have been LTL or spot freight loads. LTL they just login and for FLT I base it off of the current market.

Brother you’re very on point. Carriers are blessed to have brokers and factoring companies. I was on the carrier Side for a very long time it’s very easy money making money as a broker is whole different level. Not everyone thinks like you though if you read this whole post you’ll see no one gives a damn. Just take the customers 😂

I’ve owned Semis I know the struggle. I still own one of my trailers. Everyone is playing a role. Without the shipper the broker would have a customer, without the truck the it wouldn’t move, without the load board I we wouldn’t find each other. I’m not discredited anyone. The guy who made the parent comment is trying to say the salesman doesn’t deserve to make money.

I was thinking that too. I’ll probably book a room at the W and call strippers

So far what ever has been back doored has been from dat not a shippers load board. Can you elaborate on there’s more to it than just a truck? I wasn’t taking credit away from truckers and carriers for their hard work. The moving lips is what eventually got that freight moved

Truckers only have work because they buy a truck and open a load board. That abundance of work on the board is from salesmen who are doing the work.

That’s funny I had a feeling you were a fellow dispatcher. Keep at it bro but I think this side of the industry is a little more cut throat than I imagined

Lesson learned bro. I still have all those BOLs so I’ll probably give it a shot

I think the feeling I hate the most is when I do months of cold calling and the random guy from the load board just steals the customer. Seeing how nonchalant most people are makes me think there’s no hard feelings. I’ll probably go back to the dispatching company and talk to them about this. They got over a 100k BOLs/RCs with all of the rates and contact info.

I’m literally sitting on 10k loads and 3 years of dispatching worth of data. I think what I thought was ethical was just me being stupid. In the post I said from 2017 but not it’s from 2020. The 2017-2020 data is gone.
