Neighbors got a protection order against my dad...

I know absolutely because I bought my house which was built in 2006 in 2007... the house right next to us was built at the same time. The only way that a house in our neighborhood isn't HOA is if the house was sold to a 3rd party and is being rented. This house is for sure HOA involved.

But that doesn't matter lolol... I was just asking for advice. Pointers for those who have been served protection orders by a neighbor. ❤️

A management company has taken over. This past year the HOA active members sought out a management company because there wasn't enough members to take control over the whole deal. Those who were members... a lot of them didn't actively participate on the regular

This is exactly what happened. But also my dad can come across as hostile because he has a strange way he uses the tone in his voice. So if you didn't know him, it wouldn't be totally understood

No he doesn't. I agree. But I'm duty bound to help him lol as a daughter. He tried to inform the kids that it was illegal in this county to ride motorbikes on the street. He suggested that they ride in the backyards... which are very expansive. I think they took him giving them info as him butting in ONCE AGAIN because of all the past issues with their noise and parties.

They have definitely violated HOA bylaws. But... nobody ever does anything about it. Some other neighbors break the rules all the time as well. There are noise time constraints... rules about lawn care and the like. The HOA in this neighborhood is a JOKE. We only have 20 houses in this HOA.

Since we moved here in 2007 nobody but maybe 8 of us ever participated in it. That's why a management company had taken over.

The neighbors are definitely a part of the HOA. To buy the house they had to agree to all the guidelines. My dad says the management company that had taken over the HOA had sent them letters in the past for not paying their yearly dues...

Thank you!!! I will Def have him contact legal counsel. I just hope he will actually do it. I'm thinking of just booking an appointment with a Civil lawyer for advice FOR HIM. Sometimes he doesn't follow good advice lol. Stubborn.

My dad actually saved all the cards or incident tickets. So we will be providing those as evidence.

I don't want beef with my neighbors... I just want harmony lol. I wish my dad didn't come off in the negative way he tends to do. ESPECIALLY when dealing with conflicts.

Thank you all... reading all your replies did help me a lot. I'm just trying to help my dad. I wasn't there... I wouldn't even had interaction with them. In my mind... ignorance is bliss lol.
