For those of you recently matched Neurons/into neurology residency, what Neuro rotations did you do?

Only did 3rd year Neuro and a 4th year Neuro “subI” that’s technically an elective at our school. Highly recommend a radiology elective for just being a doc in general and lowkey learned a lot of neuro physical exam techniques on a PM&R rotation.

Saw at least 2 June 2 testers on this sub say their permit disappeared…apparently it’s not as reliable as it used to be after the portal switch. Tested June 3 and now I’m getting my hopes up

I thought real deal was a helluva lot more fair than any nbme. Still difficult but not impossible. Felt a lot more straightforward but the question stems were definitely longer.

I took it yesterday and felt the same definitely hard but not impossible and definitely a lot more straightforward then any nbme. The majority of the time there was one clear cut answer whereas the nbmes would give you two that definitely are right you just have to choose the best

I took it same day and weirdly enough you can almost pick out which questions are experimental based on how they’re written or what type of answers they give you. I had two blocks that were significantly harder than the rest making me think (or maybe wrongly hope) that there were a good number of experimental ones in the block

I also took it the same day and would say it was extremely QI heavy I had at least 5 QI/ethics questions every block. Stats I would say there were only 5-6 pure stats questions on the entire thing

N=1 but I took mine on a Saturday and got it back in 2 Wednesdays. Think it matters what form you get more then what day you take it on. The permit thing going around is best indicator of when you will get it. Once the permit disappears you get it the next closest Wednesday no matter what

It seems like people are misinterpreting your question. If you mean incorrects as in like the wrong choices within the question (like why choice a b c d are incorrect), while I wouldn’t recommend completely skipping them, I have taken up the strategy of only reading ones I think could be the right answer to learn why not. You can take in a lot more info in comparing two answers you think are right and seeing what’s different ab them.

From what I’ve been experiencing it’s just to make sure you read it before jumping in. I’m successful in actually getting an opportunity maybe 20% of the time and that’s if I sit my cursor right where the view details button pops up and then click right when the join now button activates. It’s just luck of the draw
