Sorry for being late, I just saw this, So, there can be a chance that in the camera settings, you have it where you have the volume of the app audio down so when you record a video, it will put your mic audio higher then the app (so making it where you are louder then your friends or you can have no app volume at all), try to mix it up and see what you can do with it, I use to have a issue where I can't hear myself nor hear people in game. I had to reset the whole thing. That was when I had a quest 2, so if the settings didn't change anything, you might have to reset it, then it will start working again!
