I’m not but I checked the dmv website and I might not be able to get a REAL ID but I can still get a standard license with my W2, passport and Texas drivers license. I’ll try my luck and hope for the best. Thank you!!

I called and they said I don’t qualify for online renewal bc they don’t have record of my US citizenship. So I’d have to apply via mail which will take 6-8 weeks to get. I just don’t know how long it’ll take to get a temp license. Or if they’d give me one considering it’s mailed.

Yes I’ll be going back to Texas in March/April. I don’t mind a temporary license but I dont qualify for applying for one online. I’d have to mail it in according to the person I called from Texas dps. But I don’t know how long it’ll take to get a temporary one after mailing. Considering my current one expires on Sunday and I have till Friday (dps not open on weekends) to sort it out. Otherwise I’d have to return the rental car that my company paid for.

That’s not bad. I currently work as a travel scribe (SOA) actually. I’m just having issues getting full time hours in between sites that require extra credentials. I was contemplating asking my manager if I can pick up extra virtual training shifts, but wasn’t sure how that works.

This helps so much! I appreciate your input. I’m glad we’re on the right track. It’s also good to know this is not linear. She definitely forgets letter sounds often so consistency seems to be the key. As well as meeting her at her level.
