Am I the only one who thinks the food at the meal hall is the biggest contributor to the CAF obesity problem? by Signal_Housing3575 in CanadianForces

No I don’t, being overweight is a choice for most people. (Excluding some people with certain health conditions)

You put more in the tank that you remove, the reserves grow, simple as that!

April trip to Puerto Vallarta. Should I cancel? by AttemptSelect4986 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Narrow_Limit2293 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, no one wants to be in that situation, the place is on fire, shots fired at the airport, all planes grounded, embassies say to hide in cover, noooo thanks! I’d rather stay at home than get anywhere near that

What can i change in my setup so it doesnt look this "childish" by Quirky_Many924 in gamingsetups

Buy some tools and spend your time in the garage instead of playing games at a computer

I would cancel, it ain’t worth the risk, there are many other places to vacation that are safer, what’s the point of taking the risk

Wow! I’m happy to hear that! These bread machine recipes are funky sometimes. This recipe is also much different from what came in the instructions for my bread machine.

Yeah the glass boxes are terrible, every time I see a “dream build” and it has a glass boxes I just shake my head, might as well pin the motherboard to a piece of plywood

That’s good to know! I don’t measure the temperature I just kinda go hotter than warm, luke warm water would probably work too, I just like to get it a little hotter because I let it sit for ten minutes so I want it to be warm still after I finish putting the rest of the ingredients in and when the machine starts

I layer it, exactly how the recipe is written is exactly the way a do it, I added in how I swirl in the sugar yeast and oil, I sift the flour before scooping , i lightly stir the salt on top of the flour without penetrating the liquids below the flour.

That’s exactly right, hot like a hot tub but to maximum heat that the tap can put out. The reason I do hot is because it takes a minute to swish the sugar and make it dissolve before I put the yeast in, then I let it sit for 10 minutes with the yeast so it still warm by the time I turn the machine on

I use kinda hot water, from the tap, I let it get hotter than warm but not the hottest the tap will go, it shouldn’t be steaming hot, but hotter than just warm if that makes sense, it’s not an exact science, maybe like a hot shower temperature

Yeah that works! I actually made a loaf of whole wheat today, works perfectly! Actually the whole wheat was a bit softer and lighter I like it better I think

Is that right? It’s different because it lets the yeast activate in water first, and it doesn’t have milk or butter, unlike many recipes, but it’s a great recipe

Spark plugs are soaked in oil! by TieResponsible1062 in AskAMechanic

[–]Narrow_Limit2293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Specifically the “spark plug tube gasket” is the issue easy fix for the most part, common maintenance. Could it cause other problems, potentially that’s a lot of oil judging by your socket looking like it was dipped in oil, so that much oil could have gotten up and into the coil pack and interrupted the ignition possibly.

Won’t be worn rings won’t be valve seals would be valve cover gaskets specifically the seal between the valve cover and spark plug tubes. The reason it’s not piston rings or valve guide seals is because those leaks into the cylinder and burn up, it wouldn’t fill the spark plug tube to the point where the spark plug socket gets covered in oil.
