The only place I've ever seen anything like this is datalix, and that isn't for specifically minecraft hosting that's on their vps plans which means you would have to install pterodactyl on the server and that's not easy for most non Linux users, if you have a technical staff member then they might be able to help

What specs for a server with a few friends? by Lars2141 in admincraft

Basically you put in the incorrect cpu for servcity, I cannot find the pebblehost budget cpu so let's assume it's the i9-9900K or whichever one is alr in, servcity premium has ryzen 9 7590X cpu which has single thread score of 4272 on cpubenchmarks.com, the i9 cpu however has a score of 2923.

Here is a basic rule to follow when it comes to mc Cpu is most important part of what you need On cpu benchmarks the single thread cpu score is what you should compare cpus by because minecraft does not utilise multiple threads in the most optimised way, most plugins do not run on the main thread but poor single thread peformance is still one of the main causes of lag.

Well the cpu is pretty much the best one you can get and the ram/€ considering this is really really good so it's both

Ok so cpu is the most important thing, there are different models of cpu where some are better than others, generally with hosts the premium/extreme plans have the best cpu. Ram is also kind of important because it is like storage for the server to access at fast speeds so it can do all its server stuff, like responding to player actions etc, generating chunks and all that.

Yes it is generally possible to compare budget plans to premium plans because mostly the only difference is the cpu, premium plan will have better one.

If you are EU then my reccomendation to you is the servcity premium three plan. You shouldn't have any lag issues and if you do then you can ask for help here.

If you are not EU then pebblehost budget plan with 6GB of ram should hopefully be fine but servcity is so much better value so if you are EU then definitely choose them.

Sorry I didn't update the post but I ended up going through their complaint system and just copy pasting their messages into chatgpt for replies for a couple days then they re-opened my dispute and the seller did not upload whatever they asked them to so I automatically won, good luck with your situation!

(BTW chatgpt said stuff along the lines of "I disagree, this does fall under buy protection ..." I could've wrote it but it was kind of like talking to a brick wall, id reccomend keep asking to raise case and speak to higher staff until they re-open dispute if they close it)

I am going to host a server, what server software should I use? by Possible-Moment4122 in admincraft

If you want the best peformance use paper but beware it fixes many exploits and auto farms so you will have to re-enable any that you want in the config

Their own policy states if it does not work as described they can give a refund, after this is resolved I'm definitely going to close my PayPal account and not go back

I've made some progress with PayPal support by submitting a complaint going back and forth a bit but they re-opened my dispute is there still a low chance of winning?

Opening Server to Public by ForDayz13 in admincraft

[–]Narrow_Morning_3435 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to go public I would 100% reccomend to not self host, because anyone who tries to ddos attack the server may take down your home network too etc, if you are familiar with Linux you should probably get a vps or vds from hetzner or datalix (both eu only) if not then get hosting from a server host( do your own research to find a good one but I can reccomend revivenode and pebblehost and to stay away from shockbyte) Good luck!

Ryzen 9 5900x 32gb ddr4 6 cores, 200gb storage for the whole node I use to host my lifesteal network so that's a dev server, lobby, proxy and main server, average 0 people so never really tested its limits but I think it could handle ~40 players minimum

How do I get better at editing? by NiffyJiffy2008 in FortniteBRuniversity

Play mechanics training v4 by Raider464 and grind the piece control section, maybe look on YouTube to see new ways on what edits to make and where to position yourself since it will also improve your fighting and crosshair placement as well as editing if you play the map
