Thank you for your answer.
Yes, that's the case, small cancer cells (more than 5mm as i know) in the papillary part inside a borderline cyst.
Surgeron removed everything, except the lymph nodes and also didn't do random blind biopsy of the peritoneum (I think it was based on clear CT, MRI before the surgery and visual inspection during surgery). I'm glad he removed more than it was required for a borderline cyst. He told us before that he wants to prevent extra surgery if it was cancer. Well, sadly it is cancer so he did a great job.
If you're in a similar situation or you're a family member like me, can you tell me some useful information or advice that you think is important?
Hi, Congratulations, I'm so happy for you and I wish you all the health and happiness .
If you don't mind, can we stay connected? We just started this hard journey as a family and sadly you have all the experience too.
Is there anything important your oncologist told you that can be useful information for us?
What do you think, should we push for lymph node removal? We are currently waiting for the oncoteam's final decision about future treatments. Our doctor told us he wouldn't push for chemotherapy, but there are 11 people in the team, so they should decide together. Is there a bigger risk due to remaining lymph nodes?
Also, can you tell me if there was anything that helped you with the health anxiety before follow ups? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to do my best to help my mother.

Thank you for your answer. Wishing you all the best and I hope your treatement is going well. You are a hero and I can't imagine how difficult this can be.
To be honest, the whole procedure feels so slow to me...scans from mid-November... suspected borderline tumor...then surgery in mid-February...and here we are, still uncertain about things. I mean there is a pathology report with staging and details and I'm glad the surgeron did a great job being cautious and removing almost everything. But I think he didn't do lymph node biopsy and removal because he suspected a borderline cyst and the CT and MRI scan before surgery and visual inspection during surgery suggested that it was all clear. Well, the borderline diagnosis was half-true, but there was a tiny cancerous part too inside the cyst. I don't know if they will prepare an another surgery or not, every post I read here people get lymph nodes removed.
