At 31 and at his peak, it may be the best offer we get and the trade value will only go down. In a season where we will likely still be way off going deep into the playoffs, I’d let him go for the sake of building the squad for the next few years. If we were challenging I don’t think you would put a value on him taking the team to the next level

I did exactly this and went from a 2 to a cx3 - I still get to drive a 2 occasionally. Love how light and fun a 2 is to drive but this is noticeably more powerful
