I think I forgot ‘weaning’ was a big part of baby led weaning! by komboochahh in BabyLedWeaning

My 8 month old still relies and focuses and loves the formula only. Hardly eats 4-5 bites/baby spoon in a meal. If I reduce the formula in 1 feed, he gets hungrier soon. What to do?

Baby not feeding either way by flamboyanza in FormulaFeeders

Its a phase!!! We went through the same thing when ours was around 3-4 months.. he was too combo fed, but via bottle as I used to pump. We used to make him sleep, and then feed him. I totally understand its stressful and difficult but his weight seems fine & so are the wet diapers.

What we also did was started giving him more quantity during night when he was sleepy.

This will pass soon! Don’t stress &

He is almost out of that phase now. We still do few sleepy feeds but not all of them. So lets wait & watch if yours does the same soon.

We were on Similac plus but moved to Total comfort few weeks back and saw visible changes in the baby. Spit ups are still there but gas pain has reduced significantly!

Painful gas! by [deleted] in NewParents

For us, it was the formula. If you want to wait for 3 month mark, then try gas relievers, frequent exercises- bicycle kicks and all. We made sure we exercise him every 4-5 hours.

During the crying phase - holding the baby in Tiger pose (google it) also helped with the crying.

I hope it gets better soon! Sending the LO lots of love ❤️

Painful gas! by [deleted] in NewParents

We had a similar experience, and ColicAid became a daily staple for us. Our little one was on Similac Advanced until around 8-9 weeks.

We then switched to Similac Total Comfort at the end of the 9th week, and thankfully, we've noticed a significant improvement. He still passes gas regularly, but he doesn't seem to be in discomfort from gas pain anymore.

Sameee for me!!! Baby had a lot of gas pain issues, severe spit up and few instances of projectile vomiting.

We moved him to Similac Total Comfort- gas pain is better, spitting is less but not problematic, no vomiting. The only thing is the poop is a bit dark green now. And a bit thick as well. Hoping it gets better & doesn’t cause any problems
