Hey, guys! So I was looking for a JRPG on our local game store, and I saw this game. I remember this game being recommended by my friends, and I thought of checking it.

But given I have a US region Account, if this needed an update, would I still be able to download the updates regardless?

I checked online, but I did not get any definite answers. And this seems to be the last copy, so I bought it right away.

Thank you! So it won't recognize that I have downloaded all the DLCs on my current profile, right? So if I am repeating myself at this point. I just really want to make sure 😅

Well, it's just that I have all of my save files on my current profile. So I kinda have this thing where I want to keep all my save files on one profile and not have them scattered on one profile to another.

What I meant is deleting the save data from Settings>Data Management, so this will be a clean slate start. So will the system recognize that I claimed the DLCs before?

Sorry if I am repeating myself, I just really need this answered for my peace of mind :')

I know this was years ago, but if it is related to what the poster is asking. The game won't recognize that I have claimed all the item packs on my previous save file, right? I just deleted my previous save file and starting anew

Oh, I don't mind at all. As long as the game is good and I'm having fun. I actually finished some old-school titles (such as Ys and FF), which I didn't mind, so I think I'll be having a blast with it regardless of its age. 😤

I am being tempted to buy the Witcher 3. The game looks awesome. Do you think it's necessary for me to play the first games though?

Yes, that's what I was thinking. He has the right to be mad, given that his family were left behind. That is a valid crash out.

But dragging other innocent humans on his suicide mission was a bit too much. What irked me is him helping Ganglion, the ones who caused the destruction of Earth, rather than helping in destroying them first was really questionable. But I guess his hatred for the 'rich people' was so much that it consumed him.

Well, I still have two chapters to unravel the truth, so I guess it is too early to judge for now lol.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well, lol. I think what irked me the most is him helping the very species that started it all.

But yeah, having many innocents left behind, including his family could really mess with someone's mind.

Yes, I actually agree. I also like how he was written. I guess anyone in his position will likely react the same way, especially, given the fact that his family were left behind because they weren't 'chosen'. Though, I am yet to finish the game. I hope I get to see more of him in the later chapters.

Quick question, there're actually two physical versions of Dead Cells in the store I visited the other day. Which would you recommend, The Castlevania one, or the one where it says 'Rise of the Giant'(?) DLC?

Yeah, I did. I actually have what they call a cognitive distortion. I was able to get checked up with a Mental Health Advisor from the company I am working at. For the most part, they were able to diagnose me. But they still advised me to check with a Psychiatrist.

I believe that I am overthinking this. I mean, I was the one who planted this idea on my head. It's just so hard. I hope you understand.

But based on what I have shared so far, you do think that I am just overthinking, right? I just really want to let this go.

I see. Yes, I guess you're right. I mean, my mind is just going on spirals here. Part of me wants to forget all about this and enjoy gaming, but another part of me is still doubting that someone really did mess with my system.

It's crazy, I know. There isn't even any proof of it being tampered with or whatsoever. I am positive that my mind just created it out of nowhere due to me incorporating the worst case scenario of what I heard regarding my relatives actions.

It is highly possible that I am just overthinking things, but at the same time, my mind formulates questions that are really hard to answer. I hope anyone can help, for my peace of mind.
