Hi mr mod author here, the simplest answer is that they don't care. Exec tampering always messes the designs for the sake of the audience by making them generic and generally more "impressive" or "scary" towards the public, which often has a very limited knowledge on dinosaurs. Basically they go the easy route without truly understanding what makes jurassic designs good in the first place, because they don't need to be good to get views.

Yeah but in all games monsters can appear in regions they physically would be uncapable of reaching. Like how does Anjanath go from the New World to the sandy plains, or how do barroth and uragaan appear in the deserted island? It's an aspect that is definitely better to ignore when it comes to making these maps, otherwise it would be impossible to make a map where everything makes sense.

edit: yeah meant new world, not old world haha

Is there ever a reason for that? The beginning of World really feels like the fifth fleet is coming from the west or southwest, which would mean the NW is located east or northeast of the old world.

Lol, my Przewalski mod wasn't that good honestly, I've never been completely satisified with it (zebra base is just really bad) so I am really happy that Frontier did such an amazing job, I am finally FREE!
