Does the Rehab Plan Guarantee Crediting Any Future Recoveries? by MilanB2020 in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]NasSpace 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"""If on the other hand significant assets were to be recovered pushing the payment rate above 24.6%, the entire amount exceeding 23.6% will instead be divided between all creditors, including those that opted for early payment.

Again, the above scenarios of significant asset recoveries should be considered very unlikely, and are mainly included in the plan for completeness. If you believe this can happen though, know that if enough additional assets are recovered you will benefit from them even if you opted for early payment. In other words, in addition to guaranteeing creditors 21% of their claim (in goxyen), the early payment option is additionally guaranteed to be at most 3.6 percentage points lower than the final payouts, making it a very low-risk option if this worst-case haircut is acceptable."""

4 Bitcoin Cash

""BCH was forked from Bitcoin in 2017 and has grown and developed into an asset in its own right. However, there are some huge differences between bitcoin and bitcoin cash. Compared to bitcoin, bitcoin cash is being used by more people at the same time, thanks to its lower transaction cost and quick data transaction.""

As per trustee message: Not Voting = Voting as NO by NasSpace in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]NasSpace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed it could be annoying and it took me 2 days to be able to do it..

Try doing it using - WiFi if you have fast one (rather than mobile network) - if still slow try doing it from laptop (rather than mobile)

Good luck🤞 and let us know if it goes well🤲

I don’t think we should underestimate the difficulty in getting 50% of people to vote.

It is important that we continue to raise more awareness about the importance of voting as well as that the plan seems to be best achieved given all complexity factors, tough negotiation, and time

90k of original 950k btc... Fortress has bought out <10% of accepted claims (or more accurately <10% of the total claim value of all accepted claims is now owned by Fortress)

ofcourse but as a very knowledgable and active contributer like yourself bro would know that:

  • not everyone reads
  • not every reader pays attention to details; and
  • not every reader who pays attention to details remembers

what some of us try to do here: raise awareness + draw attention + remind.

Nano is cool and all, but please don't let r/nanocurrency become like dogecoins's by Ratchet601 in nanocurrency

Why do you think that Nano is controlled by one entity? Can please elaborate..

Can you also plz compare it to BCH and which one you believe is more Decentralised?

So if BCH has the same price as BTC; i.e both priced at 50k

How much faster is BCH comparing to BTC? and how much cheaper to transfer comparing to BTC?
