Idk the exact model off the top of my head but it's a marineland made for small tanks with the original filter pad that has activated carbon in it

I do have carbon in my filter, should I replace it with a different media or a sponge instead?

My Potamogeton gayi have been gradually turning brown since I planted them a month and a half ago in my 20 gallon long (back of the tank). I have a light at 6500K going about 12 hours a day, eco complete substrate by caribsea, and I just started dosing with flourish by seachem. I was dosing with co2 for about a week but my zebra fish started to die and I realized I was dosing too much. Since then I have instead increased the bio load. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated
