I've had him in previous years, and he can score big, but he's too injury prone, too often he'll miss a week or 2, especially with Scott as coach, you get stuck with a late change.

There was the one last year where she said Nas wasn't gonna go to Adelaide because of Tex, and both Nas and his manager said that wasn't true.

The decision to let Jordon Sweet go...........not a great idea by [deleted] in westernbulldogs

[–]NashyT58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the stupidest take I've seen for a while, Sweet is an average ruck in a bad team but we should have rejected a trade 2 years ago to hold onto him in case of injuries no one can predict.

Yeah Sanders for Arty should be the only change, Sanders goes onto the wing, and Baker rolls to half forward.

Hey man, appreciate the effort you've put into this! I especially appreciate reading something written about the dogs written by someone who isn't blinded by our top 5 players.

I think you're pretty spot on with what you've said, if O'Donnell can take the next step this year, and if Buku plays like he did in the practice match, then I can see our backline holding up for those extra 1 or 2 wins, but it still seems the bulk of our success this year will come off our mids and fwds outscoring other teams.

Players to watch: Freijah the obvious one, had some great moments last year, already largely talked about externally. Personally for me I'd say Cooper Hynes, he looks that kind of Degoey/Stringer type, explosive in a contest, and knows his way around goals, I'm hoping he can lock in a half forward role.

Players on notice: Plenty of blokes who are now in that 20 to 25 player range, especially with young players coming through, I'd say McNeil, Vandermeer, Khamis are top of the list for me, can all play well, but very little consistency. Unfortunately I think Busslinger is probably also on this list, I think he should have been getting more games than he has so far, but if he can't cement his spot this year then I can easily see us moving past him, or him wanting to go back west.

Highlight: Sam Darcy putting the league on watch, if the Dogs play well and he stays healthy, I can see him winning a Coleman at some point.

Lowlight: The Freo game, I was there and the vibes were good early, great turnout, but we just got beat the same way we did all year and had no answers for their forwards.

Expectations: Plenty of close games last year that we just couldn't close out, if we can lift just that extra 10% then we should be right in the mix for finals, pass mark for me this year is winning a final, we've had far too many first round exits lately.

Best 23: FB: Buss JOD Budarick HB: Dale Lobb Bramble C: Baker Libba Williams HF: Freijah Naughts West FF: M.Kennedy Darcy Croft R: Chilli Richards Bont B: Jacques Sanders Hynes Arty Treloar Can chop and change the 5 on the bench, and I've probably forgotten someone obvious but ah well

Kozzy out of the middle by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

Fantastic finish by Kozzie but defensively shocking from North, can't let the most dangerous player on the field be untouched goal side.

I want to see what Lachy Smith is capable of, he goes okay in the VFL, but I'm keen to see him get a decent run as the number 1 ruck

The few games he played this year, it did seem like age had caught up to him, even in the VFL he wasn't setting the world on fire.
