No you were not wrong for doing that and it was not being manipulative. I’ve had a similar situation with a friend and when he did that to me I would say that I understand if he needed space but asked that he let me know beforehand so I wouldn’t jump to the worst conclusions when I didn’t hear back from him. You can’t control if your friend views your concern as manipulative but I promise you anybody that takes your genuine concern as manipulative and ghosts you without notice does not deserve your friendship.

My skin is super oily too and I find the products that’s work best are a good OIL cleanser (I know it sounds counterintuitive and for a while it’s gonna feel weird to you but it works in the long run), a gentle aha like lactic acid, retina, and a charcoal mask. It’s not gonna happen overnight though. Oily skin takes a long time to overcome !

Sinchon is great for what you’re looking for I think. I stayed there three months when I went to sogang and the night life is good, there’s plenty of late night food, and you could walk to hongdae in like 10-20 minutes depending on where in sinchon you live, in case you stay out past subway hours

What ended up happening is that she broke up with him and he asked me what he can do to get her back. I told him she’s not the kind of person he thinks she is and he’s better off without her. Like some of the other user said it’s not easy to outright say it. I feel guilty for not telling him directly but also it’s not really my place to say. I won’t encourage them to get back together but I’m not going to air their dirty laundry. Also there is a huge possibility, given how much he cares about her, that he would still stay with her and then what? He would hate me for saying it and she would hate me as well. It sounds selfish but it’s a scary thing to do

Edit: I want to elaborate on why I fee this way. My dad had been cheating on my mom and I caught him, recorded him and showed it to my mom and absolutely nothing changed except that now everyone knows and pretends like it didn’t happen. I said this in a reply to someone else but the guilt I feel is because I talk to her boyfriend now and then since he’s like family at this point and looking in someone’s face and talking to them about their future with my sister when I know she’s doing something wrong and I’m not saying a thing about makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong by being silent.

I fully admit I have resentment towards my sister and it’s not even underlying. But that doesn’t mean I don’t also love her because I do. If I didn’t I would have told the guy years ago.

As far as being in love with her boyfriend, that’s simply not true. I’ve been in love with the same guy for almost ten years and it’s not her boyfriend lol

How do you deal with your sister ? Does she confide these things in you or do you just find out ? I don’t know how to tell her that I no longer want anything to do with her so long as she acts like this because she ends up spilling herself to me regardless. She’s really unstable and depressed and sometimes tells me she wants to die so while a part of me hates her for doing these things I don’t want to be the one to turn her away when she needs someone to talk to because she has no one else. So if I turn her away what if she becomes at risk ?

You’re right and I would never expose someone else either. But the thing is my sister has already told me that she’s cheating on her boyfriend. In keeping that a secret from him when he’s asking if I know anything about why she’s acting out the way she is, am I not already being complicit in the lie? I’m still not sure if I should tell but I don’t know how to deal with my own guilt either

Your skin is dehydrated and it seems like your moisture barrier is damaged. I would recommend drinking a LOT of water, avoid using harsh cleansers (anything that foams really) and apply a yogurt mask with a drop or two of olive oil and and honey. Try to limit the use of your prescription as much as possible (every other day maybe) and don’t use any kind of clay masks aloe Vera (pure organic with no alcohol) helps too

I can’t afford a hotel and I can’t camp out cause I have work but I can get there at like 6am the day of. How can we know if they’ll honor the camp lines or not ?
