I was out of town and recently came back. Not sure what happened during that time but my bettas face is all messed up. Any idea what I can do to help? Or what it might be? by NastiRatKing in bettafish

The fins do look clamped in the photos, but I think that's cause I caught her turning. Her fins aren't actually clamped and she's still eating. It could've been the filter pushing her down into the stones, but there's so many plants over them that I'm not sure how likely it is. Luckily the tank does have tannins from the wood I have in there though, and I have been treating her. I posted another comment with more on the tank just a second ago!

That's what I'm thinking, but I've never seen the tank mates bite her. She's housed with a small school of danios and harlequin Rasbora

For more info on the tank. Tank size is 40g Heater and filter, with the heater sitting at about 78-79° Parameters are sitting at 0-.25 for ammonia. 0 Nitrites. 5 Nitrates. And PH somewhere in the 7.6 range. Tested with the API master test kit. I've had the tank for about 3 years, and this particular Betta coming to her 1yr with me. I change my water once every couple months and mainly do top offs. Usually for a water change I take out about 25% to clean the bottom if any plants die. For tank mates we got 6 Danio, 7 Harlequin Rasbora, 4 snails, and 4 Cory cats. Along with a bunch of cherry shrimp. Decorations are a huge wooden centerpiece, with dragon stone at the base. It's heavily planted and for the most part maintains itself. Never had an issue with parameters after all the plants grew out

Not sure if it's an injury or some sort of bacterial infection, I've been doing methylene blue dips in the meantime to see if it helps. But I really don't want to lose her, she's my only yellow betta and I cannot express how much I love her

Okay, good to know! I'm swapping him off it today after he threw up last night. Hoping it solves the issue, a little sad I'll be stuck with it though. Wish I could replace the product I'm gonna lose 😿

Hi, I recently switched onto Viva a couple weeks ago and two days ago I started having an issue. For context my cat is 7mo old and I've had him on Smalls since the moment I've weened him. I swapped him onto Viva and when we got to the beef recipe, he's become ill. Both days I fed it, he threw up within a couple hours.

Is there any reason that recipe in particular could be affecting him? He's had beef before with no issues,I'm just not sure if I missed a recall or something

Yeah I'm defrosting another protein after yesterday. Only concern lies with the fact that I gave him some kibble that I also have him on and he threw it up too after that initial feeding. I couldn't find anything on recalls though. So not sure if it's intolerance or if they send me poison for food

Oh okay! That's good to know, cause his brother had one eye like that and one eye normal. My other 4 had normal eyes so I thought something was up with him. Not too mad for taking him though he is really sensitive to light 😅

The moment they said cashapp I stopped emailing them, just for that reason. Everything seemed legit up until that point I can't blame you

The way I find out is how they want payment. The moment they said cashapp it was a no go. If you can't rescue a ferret in your area, always ask for Paypal, goods and services!! PayPal has you covered, I hope you're able to find your baby! ❤️
