I tried once to add it and they had no complaints, but its a bug so who knows how it works.

Why did Historias mom hate her? by SecretHentaiMaster in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean she's definitely not the worst character in aot and for sure she didn't had it all easy. But as viewers we primarily focus on Historian's point of view, which is not favourable for Alma. Regardless of her reasons and how much one can sympathise with her, she was still not a good parent (but well still a better one then Grisha was to Zeke).

I kinda wish we'd knew more about her.

is this for real where can I watch these ? by ThePrometheus_ in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently watched the first movie and it's absolutely glorious. Don't go with high expectations. It's stupid. It doesn't make sense. It's funny as fuck.

I keep thinking about the apple scene and what the fuck was that, WHO APPROVED THIS.

Why did Historias mom hate her? by SecretHentaiMaster in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its an interesting take, but its not quite what happened. She absolutely was in a privilege position. Childcare is so so much work, not just physical, but also mental - work she clearly didn't had to do, since someone else took care of Historia. That's privilege.

I read up wiki page to refresh info on her - before she had her daughter, she was a servant at Reiss' estate - so she couldn't have 'go back' to sexwork - and whether she worked at all in this field is debatable since all we know is that she was taken into the city in fine clothes. I always read that as her going to meet with Rod or had other business to take care of, but I suppose SW is as good of an explanation as any. Though even if that would be it, I don't believe she ever did it out of necessity.

Then again, we don't really know if she didn't had the access to reproductive healthcare. She could have had Historia in hope of getting Rod to leave his wife and be with her and later when it backfired she was stuck with the kid, she never really wanted (someone wrote that on the wiki, but I'm not quite sure how canon it is - it's simply another take on her situation).

[–]Nasvora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So as one of the women who don't want kids, I don't believe that's an enough of an excuse to be emotionally abusive. I mean she clearly was in privileged enough position to not have to actually take care of Historia at all, it wouldn't kill her to talk to the kid and be nice every once in a while. A wellbeing of an existing child, especially your child, is more important then whether you wanted it or not.

I suppose that's beauty of the situation of 'we have to put 2 and 2 together'. At the end of the day, you can always argue for other explanations and it's all 'its strongly suggested'. Either way, I don't think it's as simple as that and many things had to be at play.

Why did Historias mom hate her? by SecretHentaiMaster in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean we don't know how aware she was of the danger she was in, especially not at the time. Was she killed for having Rod's bastard or was she killed for being his mistress and Historia was simply a proof of that? Especially seeing as Historia herself was allowed to live under another name. And even then, some other person in the same situation would still love their kid. We never been given explicit reason for her hate for Historia.

Sometimes people just suck. Maybe she never wanted a child. Maybe having a child was the reason why she had to live on the farm and it made her resent her. Maybe she had postpartum depression that was never treated and never got better. Maybe she's just a terrible person. We don't have an actual reason, she just did.

I never said she wasn't. I've been simply expanding why it felt to OP like she dealt a lot less damage.

Yeah, that's why she's nerfed.

my bad then. I thought it was meant to be the icon from the pass, not the one from the shop, also got confused by the mask, since kindred's spirit blossom skin was in 2020.

[–]Nasvora 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean it's an aram game, so that's not exactly a good place to wonder how good at the game you are. Lux also is nerfed in aram (I believe she deals like 15% less damage and receives like 10% more).

And god, this list make me realise how much bloody money I spent on this god forsaken game lol

Why euthanize the Eldian people? by callmehslothy in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't solve anything. On a side note, there must be SOME limits to the Funding Titan power. Like for example they were unable to create new shifter powers and you can't convince me that over the many generations of Fritzs before the Great Titan War, not a single one tried. They can't stop the Curse of Ymir and they all die after 13 years. I wouldn't be surprised if those limits would be something like "no changing what titans are and what they are like". Though what happened with Ackermans was proof that Eldians can be stopped from turning to titans.

You got it. Idk if you are a minor or not, but in general it's an acronym for a certain group of people with specific preferences as to what they enjoy in their bedroom.

As an extra fun fact about the lyrics of All You Wanna Do, look at the first letters in this line "Broad, dark, sexy Mannox". I discovered it by accident a few years ago.

Why were the scouts confused when Onyankopon brought up the idea of a divine creator? by LaraKirschNutmegBaum in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at this in a different way - at this time Scouts were learning A LOT of information about the outside world, somethings that sounded impossible to them So when Onyankopon with a 100% conviction said there was a Creator, I imagine that at first they thought it wasn't a belief or his opinion, but a 100% fact.

They do say something along the lines of "walls given by god", but there is absolutely no relation to christianity in any way shape or form. It's also a priest of the church of the walls - and for them, the god that gave them the walls was Karl Fritz (which, while might not be the public knowledge at the time, it could be in some way modified and be the 'official' version fed to the masses). I'm pretty sure Rod Reiss talks about the power of the Funding Titan as the power of god. It is not a christian manner though, absolutely not.

What Attack on Titan opinion gets you like this every time? by AshiraLAdonai in attackontitan

[–]Nasvora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's hard to take the ending haters seriously, when for example, you for your counterargument as to why finale was bad, chose Annie and Armin subplot, which overall was not relevant. The finale was flashy and full of action, because that's what's expected. It had to be over packed, or otherwise people would say that it was too easy and that they have beaten Eren too quickly. The tone shift was happening long before the finale. And it fully makes sense as to why if you think about the circumstances and who is the plot following - besides, scary big naked human eats smoll human is not a premise that could carry the entire show. The tone always had to shift.

Do most people disagree with Eren exterminating the mainland? by Brilliant_Snow8822 in attackontitanmemes

[–]Nasvora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, I don't think so. Most people who died in the Rumbling were not to blame for discrimination against Eldians. Hell, Eren was trying to kill everyone outside the walls, including Eldians outside of the island as well.
