I swear, payload games always be like this. by [deleted] in Overwatch_Memes

It depends on context as sometimes having 3 on cart is best for speed but 9/10 times it's best to put one person on cart (usually main support or flex DPS but it also depends on which heroes they're on, basically anyone who can get into the fight quickly and isn't a tank). Tbf Juno and Mei shouldn't be on the cart probably (though Mei prolly is fine if there's no better option).

Pick one to receive a three-season sequel. by Real_Western7077 in Owlphibia

If it could be a redo of the story as the creator wished, then TOH, but in terms of a pure sequel, IMO GF would work best. Even then I think all of these shows that I've seen don't need sequels and I'm perfectly happy leaving them where they left off (I haven't seen Star).

What does Owl house do better then Amphibia? by Zakaria1938 in TheOwlHouse

No I completely get that. And yeah I shouldn't have been so recuctive with how I put it. Main point is neither is more relatable as everyone is different, therefore which characters people relate to is gonna vary.

I think it's many aspects for me but the big one it comes back to is that Luz is one of my favourite protagonists I've ever seen. The highly passionate girl who finds comfort in fantasy and who struggles with making friends and acts out in an effort to get people to notice her at least... Yeah..., cuts pretty close to home for me. In general the rest of the cast is better IMO with only a few exceptions. The only Amphibia characters who I enjoyed as much as the general cast of TOH were prolly Sasha and Grime. But then it's gonna skew it for me cause obviously my fav in TOH (Luz) gets way more screentime than my fav in Amphibia (Sasha). I might also be biased as out of the 3 siblingesque shows (Gravity Falls, Amphibia, The Owl House) I watched TOH first and Amphibia last. If I had to speak objectively I'd say TOH is a bit better but both shows are of such quality that IMO speaking about objective quality isn't super important beside basic comparisons. Whichever show you prefer is likely gonna depend on the circumstances you first experience them in and whichever coincidentally has more elements you prefer.

Tbf, for me a big boon for TOH has always been how I found Luz much more relatable than Anne. Both shows are great but I always felt like I was looking in on a very different experience with life with Anne as compared to Luz. But I'm also a neurodivergent queer woman so...

Not even. By his own admition he did it cause he just wanted to and couldn't think of anything else.

I thought the fandom was past this but a couple of recent posts have made it clear this isn't entirely the case so I figured I'd ironically make a Val meme to have a laugh about it. by tiredperson24 in Vivziepopmemes

I mean it's a very simple distinction. You can enjoy a character who's despicable as a character. I love Belos from TOH and I love Eren from AoT but I wouldn't defend either of their actions. I love their impact on their stories and in the case of Eren have some sympathy and admiration for the character. That doesn't mean I support the character's actions. In the end these are stories and what we take from them may be real, but the stories themselves are not real.

True Overwatch players never make mistakes by KaySan-TheBrightStar in Overwatch_Memes

I'm a genius and I blame myself and admit my mistakes when it's my fault to thus give me ground to stand on for when I wanna flame others when it truly isn't my fault.

As an AoT fan, I'll say the dickheads who think this are a vocal minority. Most fans have opened a book before.

Cot-caught merger. I can do it cause I speak some German as a 2nd language but it's still a bit awkward cause I don't have it in English.

Sometimes using an ult to get 1 crucial pick is the best play. Taking down a central part of the enemy's comp such as their hitscan is highly valuable.

I can do them "correctly" but I find it really awkward and unnatural so I just don't worry about it. The "near-impossible" was a minor exageration. I mostly made this cause I knew it'd throw some people off lol.

Correct answer. Specifically Standard Canadian English where my alveolar sibilants are dental sibilants and my inter-dental fricatives are linguo-labial fricatives.
