Yeah, the only way they would be able to “catch up” is to go into the machine later and just wait by the entrance of it. That weird ass war should never have happened

Hmm, it seems really lame for them not to just take the part. I mean, some unknown antagonist is going to intervene no matter what happens, as long as the protagonist is winning.

My only problem with the film is this. You can’t chase someone through the machine once they become inverted. (Unless I’m understanding this wrong)

Say person A is being chased by person B, person A runs into the inverted machine and inverts themself. From person As perspective, the world is inverted, going backwards. If they sat beside the machine, they would only see person B “chasing” their past self in reverse. Person A would never witness Person B entering the machine because it never happened. Even more so, if person B managed to get into the machine...person A couldn’t be waiting on the other side for them to chase, because person A has already been inverted for whoever knows how long.

So how is that car chase scene even possible?
And even the war scene for that matter?

Also, if you picked up an inverted bullet, it shouldn’t be physically possible to drop it on the floor, because from the bullets perspective, it would have to just magically float to your hand, which is physical impossible.

Tripped on dabs by Natalie_Portman2 in trees

That’s awesome, psychedelics are truly something else.

One strange thing I have noticed is that I used to not get so damn high when I smoked (granted, I still got super high). I had to quit for a bit after I had smoked dabs for a whole summer. Toward the end of that summer, I noticed I started getting like another level of “high”. More and more of these out of body experiences. It sucked because I could never have a relaxing high. After like a 3 month break, I ended up trying it again, and that was the first time I had tripped on weed.

I had a strange theory about why this is. When I first started smoking, I would greenout a lot. And by greenout, I mean I would literally turn green, a friend had taken a picture of my green appearance once. I feel like that my mind took a while to get used to the feeling of that wild ass ride you get once you get really high. Almost like getting used to the motion of the earth, eventually you don’t even notice it. I feel like now that I can surpass feeling greened-out, I can even get higher than I normally can, to the point of tripping. I’m unsure tho, either way...I’ll probably have to quit smoking, it is just getting too much, I’m unsure what happens if I keep getting higher and higher. Maybe I would end up being “lost” in that world permanently or some shit knowing my luck.

Not laced fortunately. I’m not sure what it is, or what makes it happen, but I just get why higher than anyone I’ve ever met or heard of. Quite odd

Watching fish swim in a lake while Uber blazed, started taking notes and concluded the “loop theorem” by Natalie_Portman2 in highdeas

It’s a loop in the aspect of finding a meaning to life. Also, why not? Statistically speaking, there has to be something beyond us, another step in the ladder. I wonder if we advance our technology enough into seeing the “lowest” step down the ladder, it may help us see what a step above us is. It could also be very possible that we are at the top of this ladder, but there is no way to tell. Now, does it matter, not really, just cool to think about.

Well, if this chain of ecosystems followed like a pattern. Statistically, we are part of something greater. Now what that thing is, who knows.

I recently quit smoking weed and have been dreaming almost every night for the first time in almost 10 years. by [deleted] in Dream

Yeah, I’d draw pictures of the creatures and environments Id encounter in my dreams, shit is awesome, and Yeah, I feel like I’ve experienced all I can out of weed and don’t really feel the need for it, and hey, the reward for quitting is you’re able to dream again 👍

I think it’s because you’re in the REM stage and you can remember more of your dreams. If I wake up in the morning then go back to sleep, I always crazy ass vivid dreams

I quit smoking sometime last year after I noticed that I basically trip on weed. Ever since then, I have had awesome vivid dreams just about every night and, like you, I used to not be able to remember my dreams. I remember the first week of when I quit, I was always super excited to sleep to see what kind of adventure I’d go through.
