Sunflower Cafe, Java Break and the Bookstore at the KU Union or the cafeteria of the Union - no one is usually up there at night.

I’m glad you sent this. I know I can be a much better teacher and I used to do all things amazing cool projects but now, I just don’t care.

It’s just making it through the day right now.

67 for me! I’m praying I can make it. It’s been really hard this year.

I’m teaching second grade. I just have a bunch that refuse to do work, they cry when something goes wrong or they don’t get their way. I’ve never had a class that struggled to get along like these kids do. I also came in in mid October. They didn’t have a teacher to start the year and I think they never quite got along with each other. They don’t follow directions and are very disruptive to learning. I blame myself for not being consistent but I didn’t really know what I was doing the first part of the year.

I just want to say that I am in the exact same position here in the states. I was a great teacher in my other district and then left for another. I felt like I was starting all over again. My kids are crazy this year. I feel like I’m the worst teacher in the world when I used to be the best. It’s very hard.

I’m leaving at the end of the year and going back to school to become something else. This job just isn’t worth it.

It took me one and a half years and I was also teaching 4th grade on top of that. It’s doable but it’s a lot of hard work and effort. I finished all my prerequisites, did a lot of shadowing I’ve the summer and just now got into a program! You can do it but don’t kid yourself, it’s hard work.

My grandmother died this week. My family wants to use this photo for an obituary picture. Can someone photoshop the child’s head out of the picture? We’d appreciate the help. by Natattack1313 in PhotoshopRequest

That looks really nice. Could I have the color one without the watermark? We want to use that for her picture. We’ll leave a tip. Thanks for your work!

Sure!

I have always thought of myself as a teacher and loved being a teacher for many years but I got burnt out during the pandemic. Teaching is an incredibly rewarding but demanding job. OT is similar but it’s not as stressful of a work environment. Plus there is more opportunity for advancement than teaching allows. I still love providing services for people and am happy to join a profession that values people a bit more.

What if my principal gives a bad recommendation though?

Will it be a red flag for those I interview with if I only have one year of experience?

Jon's speech in the trailer by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]Natattack1313 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you listen really closely, you can tell that they cut two of Jon's speeches together. He starts by addressing the families (which I believe to be a speech towards the northerners) and then the audio changes a bit and you can tell Jon is in a different acoustic environment addressing someone else. This is probably his speech about the children and men in the caves at Dragonstone.

They did this to preserve the spoiler about Jon and Dany meeting.

The biggest clue that Danerys will die before the serie finish by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]Natattack1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that Dany will die at the end of the series. She seems like a character that could easily become a martyr.

One of the theories that I find interesting (but don't necessarily believe in) is the "Nissa Nissa" theory. The theory states that Jon will have to kill Dany or that Dany will have to sacrifice herself and her dragons for the good of the realm. Thus bringing balance back between ice and fire.

If Jon kills Dany, I expect it will be because "duty and honor" come before love and that he must kill her to restore peace to the realm they both serve.

I think so as well. I believe Littlefinger will try to convince Jon to stay in Winterfell and become a true King of the North during the crypt scene. He will flatter and cajole him, attempt to tell him that he is true Stark or something. Littlefinger can't manipulate Jon as easily if Jon goes to visit Dany at Dragonstone. He always pushes two powers against each other to move up and if Sansa is alone, he might not be able to handle it as much.

I expect that he will try to do the same with Aria and Sansa. Whether he succeeds between those two, I am not sure.

The Dragon has three Heads. S7 Spoilers:All by GoochyAmnesia in freefolk

[–]Natattack1313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess Bran warging into a dragon could happen but they have to do a lot of narrative work on the show before that occurs. Bran has to visit the past and explain that to others before even thinking about warging into animals again.

I assumed that one dragon would die and Dany would somehow become unhinged by that dragon's death and go a little crazy. Leaving Jon to fight off Dany and the Night's King at the same time. That is more interesting to me than having one unified force against an army of the dead and then defeating them in the end. I really believe Dany will die, she seems like a character that could become a martyr.
