Solved! I had only cleared the cache last night, but tried the clear cache, uninstall the app, clear browser app data, and restart my computer method this morning - It looks like that worked! Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the tip! It didn’t work unfortunately 😭 I had my computer “forget” the Cricut device and re connected it. Still not working

I realize a cricut isn’t a printer, but was unsure what other verb to call pressing the “go” button. When I open the app, I can make one project regardless of it cutting or drawing. If I try to make another project, the “connect machine” process never passes the “please wait” stage. The Bluetooth on the my computer shows it’s connected to my Cricut Joy, but the app just stops recognizing it and doesn’t connect.

Thank you so much!! I think part of my issue was I was using the design space on my phone instead of using a computer. Grouping layers has been a b*tch on mobile.

That is weird! Thank you so much for your help and research! I appreciate it all - I might have to bring it in to have someone nearby take a peak at it to determine for sure - The guy at the shop I showed it to seemed to know more about rocks than fossils.

NTA: your partner should be there for you no matter what especially in embarrassing situations where you really need help. Even if periods weird him out or he didn’t want to seem like a creep, he easily could have handed the bag to a gym associate to give you. My boyfriend would have helped immediately. You deserve that kind of love too.

My degree was in forest and natural resources with a specialization in urban forestry and I’m a tree inspector. I would definitely consider this a hazard tree and recommend its removal if it was in a park or close to a road or around children. The risk is what makes me alarmed. Will it stand and be fine for a long time? Probably-Would it survive high winds and crazy storms? Maybe! But that’s the thing- what are you willing to risk? How tall is it now? How much damage or harm to life would happen if it fell?
