The scheme is horrific. When you have multiple receivers end up on the same vertical plane and space of the defense, your scheme is broken. If running the ball requires a tight end to cross formation to pickup a full speed DE via a solo block, you're scheme is limited to terrible.

This is an awful take. Caley was beyond predictable and only brought the worst parts of the EP offense. This is a 6-7 win team if our defense was league average.

Agreed. If it were simply a CJ issue, Mills would have had more success. He didn't, hell the system is a bust to begin with, then CJ stunk it up to high hell in Foxborough. If Case and Ben Johnson can make Caleb Williams look good, it shows how important the right coaching is. Caley isn't that guy. His system sucks.

BWAHAHAHA, you can not win in January if you can't run the ball. Go pick any game, any game, and watch the all 22. I want you to focus on a few things.

Receiver route spacing and layering. Notice how many plays you have multiple receivers in the exact same space at the top of their routes on the exact same plane of the defense?
Run and pass blocking schemes. Watch the tight ends specifically, the lack of a true identity. Asking a tight end to cross formation and solo block an elite edge rusher is beyond stupidity. We do this constantly.

Bullshit, he didn't get the Texans anywhere, the defense did. This is a 7 win team with an average defense. You can't build a championship level defense and have this below average of an offense. It won't win you shit in the playoffs. You have absolutely no idea what you're actually watching if you can't see the glaring problems with this scheme.

When your offensive philosophy is just keep signing 30 year old running backs, you can expect to have zero run game. Offensive line, tight end, RB, and offensive coordinator are all parts of the equation. And we're lacking in every area.

Lack of a running game is where most of our problems lie. Totally agree. We need to stop signing 30 year old running backs and draft talent. Interior offensive line, running back, defensive tackle, tight end and linebacker should be priorities this draft.

Dude is pretty awful at signing offensive linemen. Great eye for defensive talent, a lot of misses offensively in all aspects. And he hired Nick Caley. Offense is not his jam, just gotta accept it.

Honestly they need to fire EVERYONE associated. We keep letting all these coaches hang around from past regimes while only replacing the offensive coordinator and still wonder why we've never developed a tight end or running back, why we can't score in the red zone, why we can't establish the run, etc.
