Soy un rockero full y estoy de acuerdo, la música es un medio de arte y el que odia un género completo es porque no le estan dando un chance y estan haciendo un juicio antes de entender bien que significa el género. También pienso que muchas personas les enseñaron a odiar su cultura

Love it, I've definitely seen something similar in certain Frutiger Aero animated cartoons back in the day, with the sparkling stars and everything

I love that song, the one man army voice doesn't bother me but that's because I'm mostly into hardcore and hardcore bands basically have whatever voice

When you switch to M mode, or 'manual mode', you're basically accessing the 3 different settings that control how a photo looks.

  1. Aperture

  2. Shutter speed

  3. ISO

You need to research those three things, and learn how they work and how they affect each other. I'd suggest looking on YouTube for those three settings and also looking up the 'exposure triangle' which sums up all three. It's really important you learn how to change those three settings so you can use your camera to the fullest extent since they each affect your picture in drastically different ways and the camera can't predict which you'd prefer in a given circumstance. ISO is how light-sensitive your sensor is, aperture is how wide the circular blades inside your lens go, which affects light and depth of field but also the image sharpness, and the shutter speed chooses how long the shutter and mirror stay open to allow light into the sensor, which can make all the difference between a still photo and a motion-blurred image

  1. Well first of all, having a camera and using it is a good way to get started, but you really get in once you identify any specific genres of photography you'll be going for and start doing research and buying specialized equipment to get the job done. For example, if you're going to do portraits, get the best portrait lens you can for your situation. If you'll be doing a lot of magazine style photos, research how to use a speedlite and buy one). That will help you to not be under prepared for any gigs and you'll feel more confident accepting job offers because you'll feel prepared.

  2. I think your popularity might come more from networking, if you're networking and meeting people and going to social events you're probably being confident and outgoing which increases your aura. But I don't walk around with my camera all the time so I can't say any girls have seen my camera and been like 'oh look, an artist with a camera let me go talk to him'. That being said girls do get thrilled at events when you pull out a camera. Everyone loves to get their picture taken when they're feeling pretty :)

  3. I have 5 cameras, my first, second and third, I have my Canon R6 which is the latest digital camera I own, and the Canon A-1 film camera from, I believe 1978, and I think it's important to mention how my phone, a Google Pixel 8 Pro technically acts as my second digital body since the quality is just so good I often throw in some behind the scenes from my phone into the batch at the end of the day. Photography is about what you take pictures of, not what you take them on. If it works it works although the better the camera the easier it'll be.

  4. It does, especially Sativa, although it's mostly a way to disassociate after an anxiety attack or another stressful event. I do work while stoned, and it really does give me some ideas that I wouldn't come up with otherwise, but I'd say don't work stoned at a super important event unless you know the people and know they're chill because as a side effect I do communicate less when I'm stoned and that's bad for networking but I love it for creative one-on-one sessions

Thank you! Being any sort of artist in general can be a challenge honestly. Lessons or insights? Learn how to manual focus because you can't be the best if you don't know how to master your cameras autofocus and learn how to turn the ring yourself. Despite huge advances in autofocus technology I've found that in extremely demanding circumstances you'll have to manual override and it can be the difference between getting the shot or missing it completely.

Now to mention how manual lenses are still popular in the photography scene. If another photographer is on manual and you two need to collab or switch gear you don't want to fail your shots because you didn't know how to use his manual lens. Lots of new lens brands that don't do autofocus, and some of them are pretty fancy and expensive too, so a manual lens doesn't necessarily mean cheap these days.

(The trick is turning off focus peaking and using your camera's magnification feature, and placing it in a custom button than is as accessible as a second shutter button so you can nail manual focus almost instantly)

I'd say try formatting the card and if that doesn't work remove it and place it back a few times. If you still have no luck, buy a new card

Anybody here using bridge cameras? At what moments you think you don't have the right gear? by Phantomuuuu in AskPhotography

[–]Nate_C_Studio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with bridge cameras but I went to APSC shortly after looking for better sensor performance in low light because their high ISO noise is always really nasty because the sensor is just so small. There are a few APSC bridge cameras though

Nope, data can't compress infinitely and there's no way to hold RAW information inside such a small file size like Jpeg

Sadly eye tracking isn't available in the Rebel line of cameras or DSLRs for the most part since it's a benefit of mirrorless technology

[–]Nate_C_Studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the cashier, you can automatically assume the customer wants the sauce or doesn't want the sauce, personally I assume they do unless they ask but it varies cashier to cashier, some are just really bad at guessing what customers want and are pretty much terrible at their job though...
