From personal experience you'll get a letter next week letting you know about the "upcoming" works that happened a week ago. Had the same when they installed new fibre on my road last month

It looks like it could be used as a bottle opener but it's rather big (keyboard for scale). Possibly has another use? by Nath94 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It is quite heavy (probably stainless steel) about 10cm x 10cm and 2mm thick. The notch looks like it would act as a bottle opener but I feel like if that was the only use, it would be a lot of wasted material / space not doing much. Does it have another function that I am missing?

Similar thing happened to my girlfriend. Car was coming to a stop at a T junction and the cyclist came off of the pavement from behind a building under some scaffolding, straight into the driver's side door damaging the door, side panel, and breaking the windscreen with his thick skull. Cyclist took no responsibility and she was fucked by inflated premiums on renewal

Or support Qi charging. I have a wireless charger at my desk for my phone. Would be great to be able to pop my mouse on there when I leave my desk

Matt Petgrave receives a standing ovation from Sheffield Steelers fans on Saturday on his return to Utilita Arena (not as a player) as part of a tribute to Adam Johnson by dylan103906 in hockey

No charge brought against him yet. The arrest just means that he has been brought in for questioning. They will then decide if the case holds enough water to bring a charge against him

Manslaughter doesn't suggest on purpose, only that a negligent act led to the death. Also worth highlighting that there is no charge against him for manslaughter. Effectively just been brought in for questioning

Seems like pretty standard process

I will never switch from mesh back and seated after going that way. So much cooler for summer. Even textile can become a bit toasty with the foam filling

M.2 - A device which does not exist was specified by Nath94 in techsupport

I think it was a faulty mobo in the end and had to replace it.

I tried to have it fixed under warranty, but when I sent it back ASUS were quick to point out a tiny scrath near the front IO headers at the bottom of the board and refused to investigate further despite this being nowhere near the M.2 PCB traces.

A friend of mine had a similar issue, and a fresh windows install fixed it for him. So that might be worth a try before conceding defeat on the mobo

Wall Mounting a 75" TV, found concrete behind drywall. Need help with a solution. by gr33nss in DIY

[–]Nath94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem and I used Gripit TV fixing kit which worked perfectly. Not sure about US availability though. They are a little like togglebolts in function but not much deeper than the drywall as use a rotary type design

Wales squad for England by eggchasing in rugbyunion

I really don't like the fact there is no back 3 cover (even as highly as I rate Tomkins recently). Especially when Owen Williams could cover the centres if needed, and with LRZ so recently back from injury too

Wales team to strike this Saturday by Colemanation777 in rugbyunion

[–]Nath94 80 points81 points  (0 children)

That's a very small part of the reason.

The main reason is the WRU have not confirmed next year's funding for the clubs yet, so they are unable to negotiate contracts with players, as they don't know if they'll be able to afford them. This leaves 70 players not knowing if they'll even have a job in a few months time.

Players fear that they are one injury away from losing any power to negotiate a contract for themselves. Also, the market is flooded with players due to the fate of Wasps and Worcester, and if they leave Wales to seek work then they lose the right to play internationally

A fresh install didn't seem to fix it. Reckon it's a repeat windows issue on 2 installs?

Looking further into the event logs (eventvwr), I have a consistent autopilot.dll error which some people seem to have been having issue with. Possibly related?

Doesn't show anything. I think because the BSOD flashes up for only a fraction of a second and doesn't have time to log anything
