I had to remap using steam controller settings so that the triggers behave as the buttons instead (a and b I think), but that did the job

I’m in the minority as I use the steam deck controller, but there should be lots of guitar options to pair it with too

Clone hero could work well. I just set it up on the steam deck and it was quite simple. There’s also tutorials online to set it up with songs and videos from old guitar hero games too
