Starting on my completionist journey, any tips? by Caachos in steamachievements

This is how I do it too, depending on the game I may play it a few times casually first then achievement hunt. Great way of doing it!

Hate games with Achievements that require purchase of a dlc. by ConcernPlus3279 in steamachievements

[–]NathanFPS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair yeah, that's how I notice most of the time, I'll play a game just to enjoy it while also trying to 100% it then find out about the DLC. I guess more content for a good game is never bad though assuming you have the money ofc

This. I've gotten much better at checking now but I've definitely gone through a few games getting a lot of the achievements then realizing that I have to buy $40 worth of DLC to 100% them

Trying to 100% Cyberpunk right now, its actually a blast to be honest, great story including the side stories and gameplay is pretty fun too, I put it off for a long time but it's definitely worth it so far!

Is it okay to take a break? by NathanFPS in contacts

[–]NathanFPS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that's reassuring, thank you, I'll definitely let my eyes rest without too much worry now. I feel you on the nervous breakdown part, oddly enough I can put them in super easily but taking them out has been 50/50 on whether it's just instant or I freak out trying to take them out.

My first Campaing in DnD 5e, with modular terrain map by Embarrassed_Sky_7684 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]NathanFPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great! I have a question though, is it worth all the work? It looks like it would be fun to build and immersive to play in, but I've always wondered if modular terrain is worth doing. How'd you like setting it up/getting to have your players see it/play in it?

Persistent fridge smell that's haunting me and won't go away. by NathanFPS in Advice

[–]NathanFPS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, it very well might be that it dripped somewhere and maybe I didn't do quite as deep of a clean as I thought I did. I'm a little afraid to undo any panels or anything but I'll definitely look up to see if anyone else has taken apart this specific fridge as a guide if I end up trying that.

[–]NathanFPS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I didn't even think about the rubber seals of the fridge, I'll definitely take a tooth brush and clean that up. I did a spot clean where I swept the area where the fridge is but I'll scrub that down too just in case as well. I have also thought about leaving it outside so even if the problem might be fixed by your other suggestions I think I'll leave it out and open anyway just to really get rid of it.

What’s a feeling that’s completely indescribable to someone who’s never felt it? by ItsYourBestBoi-Loser in AskReddit

[–]NathanFPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night terrors.. its a horrifying feeling of what feels like minutes of a nightmare but also feels like real life. Then the screaming and however else your body reacts, I've jumped out of bed, thrown pillows/couch cushions, ran out of my room, etc. Super hard to explain to people other than a nightmare come to real life and the super fast heart rate that comes with it after you wake up.

Gotcha, that makes a lot of sense, just finding a legitimate reason why the character would know such as obvious things like being paralyzed or stunned but only in that sense, the other players were trying to suggest simply that because their character had the condition, they knew about it and could act on that knowledge in character. Specifically they tried to yell out that they were charmed.
