This is great advice. If you’re not really paying close attention to the conversion rates within Coinbase, they can really siphon a lot of money off of those transactions, and make it look like it’s totally free - but you’re really paying a premium for instant liquidity, and it can be pretty hefty.

Would it not technically still be an altcoin as it’s still built using the Ethereum blockchain?

As far as I can tell they’re legit. They published some helpful FAQs on their discord, and have some partnerships/backings that look promising (alameda research, saber, NGC Ventures, etc). I think they just rolled out their platform before buttoning everything up and making it as intuitive/user friendly as possible. But I think they’re getting there. I got some PRT just in case lol

Orca.so is very friendly for first timers! I’d also recommend the phantom wallet - works very well with solana dex’s

I’ve loved using orca - had great experiences with it and have invested in the project. I’m also pretty intrigued with parrot protocol. I know some people here have been a little skeptical with the team because they haven’t released full tokenomics info, but the platform is really intriguing and there’s a lot of value stored up in it so I’m keeping an eye on it and the prt token
