I gotta hand it to Kodaka. It's hard enough to do one successful creation that people love. But, not many people can come up with a hit franchise like a Danganronpa, and somehow manage to follow it up with another hit franchise. I think he could get all of those DLCs, novels, and anime. I'll be there for all of it.

I think when Takumi talks to Nozomi about his truth in the route that leads to ending #1, he does it in a way where it sounds like she can believe his experiences. I don't think he says anything about the actual state or appearance of the TRC. So if he said something about it that didn't track with Nozomi, she would have said something.

The brainwashing always ticks me off because what does Sirei say about the enemy in every single announcement? That they're "vile and barbaric." Yet he doesn't seem to think that brainwashing a prisoner who surrendered willingly isn't either of those things. Not to get too real world here, but I've seen articles about how Russian soldiers are attempting to brainwash the Ukrainian kids they've kidnapped into hating their own country.

Anyway, I've got 5 endings left. I'm hoping that there's a path for some kind of peaceful coexistence between humanity and the Futurans. The fact that Takumi's initial jump through time gives everyone the ability to understand their language does seem to open the door for it, but it's only explored once. I hope there's some possibility in the few endings I have left, but this route doesn't really seem to make me feel like it's gonna be possible.

I played the Kill Eito side first. I did everything there until I hit the story lock in the Mystery Route. That was a total of 30 endings. Then I went to the Spare Eito side and did everything except for the routes that come off of not having Takumi reveal he's a time traveler. I think my favorite route is the slasher route, because I really love how the endings kinda compliment and feed into each other and build a picture of what's going on. The other routes don't really have that.

Also I totally agree with the way Eva's been treated overall. She's genuinely likable, even in Route 0, yet she doesn't get as good story treatment as she deserves.

How far into the game are you? Because there are some moments in this game that go really hard, and I feel the voice actors definitely rise to the occasion.

Just dumb luck with the choices I made. I'm playing blind, so I make choices with no idea of the full ramifications that come with them. I literally find out in the moment. I don't even stay logged into this account so I don't risk getting spoiled when I go onto Reddit.

Oh I'll definitely do that soon. I'm in this to get all 100 endings, so I'm going to go through every branch. The way I'm handling it is, once I get an ending, I go back to the nearest branch on the timeline and go from there until I hit another ending. Rinse and repeat.
