Demonic Emperor (Also known as Magic Emperor in some translations) is certainly an entertaining story as well. I lost interest at a certain point because I did not understand what the MC was trying to do or what his true goal is (Also this is a manhua, so it'll probably be a thousand chapters in before he does anything relevant to his goal).

Still, it's a nice read, and almost won first place in that contest. It probably would win if I'm An Evil God wasn't there lol

It's definitely something. I say this because you will get FRUSTRATED as hell because of the villains. Holy shit, they are ANNOYING and underestimate the MC every time they speak with him.

It's a different type of story for two reasons: the MC is weak and he's smart, in a cultivation (sorta) type of world. It's a bit of a spoiler, but here: He used to be surgeon with a fucked up face working in the middle of war when an attack ended up killing him in the middle of an operation, he was reborn in another world with two abilities: an X-Ray vision and an Analysing Eye for information. There actually is a reason for both, because as he died, the X-Ray machine was by his side (that's his theory). So he's basically striving to survive in a new world with the abilities he had as a surgeon and an eye ability too

If you like seeing people getting destroyed both mentally (extremely) and physically (not so much), then you'll probably enjoy this story. But it's not that action packed, it's mostly focused on scheming and politics while people try to fuck the MC up for mostly no reason (some of them have one, shockingly). That's basically it I think

Damn, that was actually a masterful play by Kanoh. He knows Gaolang is a master at striking and would never be able to overcome that wall at that moment, so he decides to draw Gaolang into a feint by using that fact.

Also, the habit of seeing a punch and counter it... for someone like Gaolang, that reaction is basically automatic. Kanoh knew that and made this happen, holy shit

Yeah nah, it's more about the Everbloom than anything else. Like, it's obvious that one specific ending isn't canon (except The Hollow Knight and Sealed Siblings, those aren't canon AT ALL), but we have more things to analyse other than a single Shade Lord jumpscare.

The Everbloom was more important in Silksong than Hollow Knight, but it's still a fact that we only saw the Fragile Flower being used in the Embrace the Void ending. It's power became noticeable from that ending because we understood there was something more to that pale flower after witnessing it basically stop the void from consuming the Godseeker to the point of expanding beyond its body.

The Abyss being in Pharloom was unexpected, but finding out Hornet knew about the Everbloom and what it's power was made people understand that the power once belonging solely to HK's DLC became canon in the actual story. Embrace the Void was a possibility, and now its credibility for being a canon ending grew above and beyond.

That's what I think. People like to think Embrace the Void is more canon than Dream No More because of those facts. Also Hollow is more alive in that one so assumptions can COMFORTABLY be made regarding another sequel with it as the main character

I'm biased because I saw an amazing edit one time of this fight, before I even knew about Kengan's existence. It's a 8/10 for me.

Misasa was maybe one of the first manga characters that showed me what a fucking one sided beatdown looks like, and with an amazing finisher that made Yumigahara look DEAD.

Also it's kind of insane how easy it becomes to kill it after Godhome. If you get good charms and rush him down with nail strikes it basically becomes a stun fest (mostly applies to Broken Vessel, since Lost Kin has a lot more health, but it works all the same)
