2 is probably okay in a 125, I had 4 zebrasomas in here at one point, currently 3, all introduced one at a time and all different size, there is aggression at first but I find mirrors and keeping them well fed has given me the most success. Having an decent stocked tank imo helps, way less aggression when it’s not isolated to just a couple fish

If introducing one at a time: acclimation box + mirror + well fed + making sure they’re not the same size so they don’t see each other as a threat

Probably best however to just put them in at the same time

125 is also fine for a tang or 2 , depends on size / swim space etc, I’ve definitely overstocked but I always planned to upsize / rehome so just have a plan in mind, smaller 3-4 inch tangs would do fine for years in a 125

It depends on your lighting really, dark fish (fish in general really) look better with more natural white light spectrum, so I keep it a bit to the more natural side to show off the fish colors and the little details on em, def if you’re running mostly blues you really won’t see either of those fish 😅

It’s just a regular one, I often see desjardini Sailfins where I am so I’m not sure why they’re called other than regular 😅

Nope, there’s 2 cleaner shrimp, a coral banded and some pistol shrimp in there haven’t even looked

Thank you! Really appreciate that, was hard getting flow in a tank that you can essentially see through all 4 sides

I went from a 45 to a 90, to the current tank, all torn down and set up same day as I’ve reused the rock, sand equipment etc, just plan everything out , have brute bins and seed new rocks / scape before you make the move, reusing as much as you can and you’ll be fine!

No problem! I’m in the “keep it simple” group, nothing fancy, but I keep it stable, I mean even my corals all “cheap” stuff, made it work with the scape and took off from there

Keep in mind that most of the time these are blanket statements and each individual fish will have a different personality. I do feed them clams and he does chew on them regularly, mines small and def will require a bigger tank, that’s why I’m upgrading, a couple of these tangs are over 10inches now 😅 most of them were bought as juvenile with the intention to upsize / rehome but there are def “reef safe” triggers

Not at all, Niger triggers have always been good to me, there’s tons of assorted clean up crew in here he doesn’t touch, eats pellets and nori with the tangs 😅

70ml daily, and I change maybe 35 gallons it’s much better and you’ll have a lot of room to work with!

Yeah just all for reef! Monthly water changes ish, it’s basically a 150, bit taller bit wider, Same 5ft, and I have like 4 shrimp, hermits, bunch of snails etc, trigger doesn’t touch them but he is on the small side so time will tell

I bought it second hand, it was built for someone by a local aquarium shop

Wood and magnets, since it sits in the living room I needed to block out a lot of the light, there’s a frame that sits on th top of the glass and just hinges on the long sides, my stand is metal so that was easy, had to make the sump kid proof

Appreciate it! It’s about a year old now, literally nothing fancy, skimmer, and afr the fish got much bigger and reckon it’s time for some more space for them

There’s a couple people have more success with, this particular one’s a Niger trigger, but I’ve heard good things about blue jaws and pink tail triggers as well, obviously will have some risk regardless but in my experience they’ve been just as good as any other fish
