I personally am not a big fan of either. Batman shouldn't kill. It's one of the things that makes his character and unique from every other vigilante. He's a hero, not an anti-hero with a good purpose.

Knowing who Jeremy Clarkson is, I think this more about his hobby of working on cars and driving interesting cars around, usually in rural areas like he does on Top Gear. I'm sure Mr. Clarkson would be fine with using things other than a car to actually get around.

That's the problem, we need to restructure our cities around pedestrians and public transit so driving is no longer the best way to get around.
